  1. The Yorkshire Coin Show is on again this weekend Sunday 27th March 09.30-14.00 at Cedar Court Hotel Huddersfield Just of exit 24 of the M62. Don’t forget the clocks go forward early on Sunday morning. Please see details on the website www.yorkshirecoinfair.com
  2. The Yorkshire coin fair is being held at Cedar Court Huddersfield this Sunday opens 09.30-14.00. I would advise to get there in the morning before midday to see all of the dealers. Details are available on the website www.yorkshirecoinfair.com Covid rules are as per government guidelines at the current time.
  3. The show is open this Sunday to the public at 09.30am. Please check all details at www.yorkshirecoinfair.com , masks are not mandatory but we would recommend for everyone’s health and safety if possible they could be worn.
  4. It might be worth checking out the York Stamp and Coin fair website and organisers as there are certain covid requirements and proof that are required for entrance tomorrow and Saturday. My advice to anyone attending a coin show unless they have good reputation and know the dealers is to take cash. A small amount as have been mentioned might accept cards.
  5. Jersey issued the 1972 proof silver wedding set (5 gold coins and 4 silver coins). Often sets are split up and the five gold coins can be bought at small premiums over spot.
  6. Thank you Lawrence, it would be nice to catch up. Unfortunately , Lancashire is a bit to far away for us to run a show. I think that needs to be left to the local dealers to run. 😉
  7. For anyone attending The Yorkshire Coin Fair tomorrow, don’t forget the clocks go back tomorrow meaning an extra hour in bed. Doors open to the public at 09.30 am.

(This was previously the show run at Cedar Court Wakefield) The full address is: Cedar Court Hotel Lindley Moor Road, Ainley top, Huddersfield. West Yorkshire. Don't forget the clock go back at 2 o'clock on the Sunday morning, meaning an extra hour in bed.
  9. Thank you for spotting and correcting that, much appreciated. I will stand in the corner after I have written it out 100 times for detention. 👍 At present the covid restrictions are the same as at the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury London coin fair and the Midland Coin fair. Masks are requested to be worn but can not be enforced. However if the government rules change before the 31st October the fair will adhere to whatever the current policies are at that time.
  10. The Wakefield cedar court show has been moved temporarily to Cedar Court Hotel Huddersfield (Just off exit 24 off the M62) scheduled for Sunday October 31st. The show has now been renamed The Yorkshire Coin fair. The next two shows after that are scheduled for Sunday 30th January and February 27th 2022. All details are available at www.yorkshircoinfair.com
  11. To the coin fairs you can add, the Midland coin fair (Held at the motorcycle museum just off the M-42 near the NEC and Birmingham airport on the second Sunday of the month) the York coin and stamp show held at the racecourse is on usually around the third Friday and Saturday of January and July, this years shows were cancelled because of covid restrictions, figures crossed for January 2022. The Wakefield cedar court show is hoping to get back going as far as I am aware, from October as the hotel is undergoing some renovation at present, so please check. This show is on the last Sunday of every month except December when there isn’t a show because of the clash with Christmas holidays. The venue is just off exit 39 of the M1 and if going M1 northbound, as you go off the slip road at exit 39 you can see the hotel from the slip road.
