I hope reason will prevail, thus as there is no correlation between CO2 in the atmosphere and temperature, the communistic climate agenda will be called off. This being said, an analyst called Johann Saiger sees 30 year cycles for silver for the last 100 years that, in case they continue, would bring silver lows around 2022 at ca 10 Dollars and a high around 2040. He sees the same pattern in gold but not that strong. I doubt it but it's certainly interesting. As the video is in German, I have made a screenshot of the most important graph of his interview from 2018

Received some quite beautiful coins...An elegant 1908 $20 Saint-Gaudens Gold Double Eagle BU bought as a random pick up.

Also an awesome lucky dip 2011 Gold Sovereign BU...looks absolutely near flawless for a MS.

Lastly, a couple 2019 South Africa 1 oz Silver Big Five Elephant BU a brilliant new release from The South African Mints latest series.

i wonder where the Roman toga account comes from - i see it said an ounce of gold bought a toga and sandals but never the source.
The technology behind clothes manufacture is very different between Roman and modern times even though both garments would be primarily handmade - so the comparison is probably not that valid.
However if we accept the comparison is sound it would suggest gold is fairly valued and not undervalued as is often stated.

Today I bought a real Edward VII Sovereign rather than fake silver - see here for how this happened:

I have mentioned this before - a German analyst, Markus Krall, who was part of designing the stress tests for banks after the last financial crisis, thinks the Euro is most likely to start to collapse at the last quarter of 2020 (but doesn't make a concrete prediction that it has to start at this time - it's just the most likely time with how things currently are and his knowledge).
    Then there is this:
Trump Fed pick wants to revive the gold standard. Here's what that means
    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trumps-fed-pick-judy-shelton-gold-standard-explained/
That doesn't mean it can't go down before it goes further up but I wouldn't speculate on that. Let's assume it goes down after you have bought some - so what, if it goes up again relatively fast, who cares. Short term trends are good for speculation. If you want to preserve your wealth and hope for a bit of a long term profit, I think it's a good time to buy now.

I think now is a good time to buy, chances are high that the price is only going to increase steadily in the coming months and years.
I will add that this is my personal opinion only, and not financial advice. Do your own research.

the data that you quote is neither relevant nor
    conclusive.
eg it doesn't explain why temperatures flatlined
from 1945-1970 yet fossil fuel consumption had
an acceleration since the 1950's. if fossil fuel
consumption is causing global temperatures to
rise then shouldn't they match up?

Weclome to the forum Fred! 👍
    The trouble with this is while 97% of climate 'scientists' agree, scientists who apply the scientific method, hypothesise based on data and don't email each other about 'tricks' to get the results they want, do not all agree;

Given the long history of the planet compared to the short history of mankind, should the question not be - how can man be blamed for climate change?

But 97% don't agree - it is a complete fiction. The number is an invention that is fraudulently perpetuated. Let's not even accept for a second it is true or could be true. It's a lie and is at the heart of this anti-human death cult.

Discussion of 'global warming' er 'climate change' was discussed at various globalist confabs long before it hit the mainstream. It's nothing more than as  a control mechanism for the Fabian socialist elite.
I also find it funny there is never any discussion of the pecuniary interests of researchers, who have an obvious interest in keeping the 'GWCC' myth alive. If they say it's not real then all that grant money goes up in smoke. One thing I've learned about government workers or those who have contracts is that they will never do anything to jeopardize that gravy train.

That is POLITICS, not science. When something is "accepted as truth which then becomes policy because a majority believe it" that is simply politiking.  The science must prove beyond reasonable doubt the causation of climate change, not just the correlation.
The onus of proof is no those who claim the effects of man-made climate change are real and significant, not those who take the side of the null hypothesis.

The Grand Solar Minimum is starting to bite.
We hear the media bleating about Climate Change which of course is meaningless. The world will come to an end in 12 years unless we go back to the Stone Age. This is such a monstrous lie it has to come from the powers that should not be. Ironically the world will end for a large number of people over the next 12 years but not for any of the reason being broadcast.
The US Department of Agriculture is hiding the crop data - fudging the crop losses - there are millions of acres have been lost.
    https://www.aircrap.org/2019/07/06/usda-fraud-masking-crop-losses-in-grand-solar-minimum/
The armyworm is destroying crops in China.
Expect big shortages and prices to at least double in the coming months.
This is just the beginning but no preparation has been made in the West. Well there has been preparation b/c this was always predictable. Which is why controls have been progressively increased since 2001. When people cannot afford to feed themselves there will be trouble at' mill.
