I hate it, because the environmentally conscious part of me wants to recycle it, but the paranoid part of me says get to fook, I'm not putting that in the recycling bag and putting a target on my house

As you know, there is no such thing as a "free" catalogue.

I've assumed Tudor Beats will also be in bullion silver/gold? does anyone know for sure?

What, they are passing up the chance to milk something ?
if it becomes popular I guarantee they do bullion versions

I would imagine but these are just my theorys.
People don’t like the design
See it as a money grab riding on the back of the QB
spent out on the jubilee range
Waiting for the bullion versions
or just far too many 1oz coins to be desirable.
the other sizes in silver sold out as did the 2 coin set so my money (no lun intended) is on the mintage being so high.
I do like the design so signed up for the 10 coin 1oz series. Will give me something to collect in a nice box twice a year. If they become desirable then all the better and if not, I will still enjoy them.
I have not seen any of the larger size silvers for sale so presume people are holding them!

I noticed that the 1st release (The Seymour Panther) 1oz silver proof is still Available on the RM site (£95) with a mintage of 6k and after being out 6 months already, would this coin (which i think is a very good design) be considered a bit of a flop?
After the success of the QB series, I would have expected a sell out much earlier than now, whats holding it back ?

Thought what the heck and bought one as a pre-order. Paid £800 for me EU strike on the day Sov and this will join it. Lots of history and first of a kind for this Sov, unlikely to see another one and yes with a big demand, gettin one on the morning will be tough no doubt.

I doubt there will be many on offer on the day, most will likely have been allocated to dealers and reserved for those with account managers.

The demand for this will be high and it will most likely sell out in minutes..but the price is too much for me
Not that I can't afford it..but I'm not prepared to lay out £675 for this Sovreign albeit a SOTD...

New to the collectable end.
What are peoples thoughts on this coin, for £675 it seems steep but only 1200 mintage.
Stuck on day of Queens 70th anniversary
How do you think the demand will be? value over time etc.
-
Jamson78 reacted to GoldDiggerDave in The Queen 2022 Celebration Sovereign
IMO SOTD sovereigns should be more sought after but they don’t come with massive hype, however they are picking up at some point in history these all will be worth huge money as any low mintage sovereign will always do well problem is I don’t think it will be in most of our lifetimes, they are nice to own, and many previous coins can still be bought cheap on the secondary market.

Looks like it's a London mark.
The year mark looks like it could be an l (1966) or an i (1964) - we don't get a good enough view, if it was cleaned up a bit it might be clearer.
The confusing thing is the circular hallmarks. They aren't circular for the 1960's and i don't see where they are circular for any years.
The MP looks like that of Maylin Products Ltd of Leighton Buzzard - they are recorded as active 1969 to 1979 - doesn't mean it wasn't active a bit earlier but can't find anything.
