Yes - 'exists' is the term that should be used but we see 'available' - i will say a deliberately misleading term. The amount of silver that exists is the same as it ever was. Most of it is still in the ground. Some is commercially recoverable but most of it isn't - well certainly not at today's prices. Some is in stacks which are for sale. Some is in stacks that aren't for sale at today's prices. Some is in goods - like your TV which is not available and then may or may not be recovered. Then a good deal has gone into land file and is certainly unavailable at today's prices.
What matters today is not how much exists but how much is immediately available (deliverable) at today's price. If no silver is available (deliverable) at today's price then the price has to go up irrespective of the antics in the paper markets.
We hear silver will go extinct - this is a nonsense as there will be as much silver as there ever was, it will just be spread out very thinly. If this happened, manufacturers would use something else and where they couldn't they would have to pay what it costs - which would be a lot more than today.
The story of silver extinction is to hype up the investment market - what will drive the price is the investment market and what will drive that is gold. What will drive gold is when the supply to China dries up. China will then reset the price of gold - this will drag up the price of silver - this will cause a clammer for silver by investors and manufacturers will have to stockpile - this will cause the silver price to rocket - it go to the Moon (at last). Until this happens silver will bobble around in the range we have seen since 2014.
Silver has been a poor investment for most of us on the forum - it has not even kept up with inflation - i have my stack for the reset - it sits there - i don't sell any of it - it just sits there and i add bits to it when i see something i can't resist.

Picked up some rounds from Intaglio Mint.
I really like the Modern Tribute collection.  2 oz high relief rounds of various american coins.  The detail, high relief and texturing is really nice.

Also more Cryptozoology rounds for my set and some antiqued Spartan Rounds (Molon Labe).  The werewolf round is really nice in person with high relief.
The antiquing is not the best. Probably because the coins have so much detail, maybe its hard to get in all the crevices.

I got a 1/20oz silver libertad and a gold 1/2 gram elephant. I know the premiums for those may be high but I don’t want to spend a ton for a huge gold coin, although I did buy a sovereign, and I really love the tiny silver libertad and want to get the silver libertad proof libertad sets that come in a wooden box that Apmex sells.
I want to know the mintage of the 1/2 gram elephant as I am thinking about getting it graded to show NGC the amazing work done on a coin the size of a grain of rice.

Harrington & Byrne sovereigns arrived today. A couple actually feel thinner on the edge than previous sovereigns I have, but the weight ‘feels’ good. I need to get a digital scale.
Strange they sell these sovereigns so cheaply, and add all this fancy packaging which obviously adds cost. I don’t understand H&B: selling sovereigns slightly below spot, only 3 per household, all this unnecessary packaging, the weird sales call, no email on order dispatch etc. A strange bunch. Much preferred the process with Bleyer but maybe not the price 😄
Also a small order from STG mainly to get me up to date with the Queens Beasts series. I dare say that’s me for a while or the wife will go crazy.

Just bought five of the new Perth Mint 1oz silver Dragaon & Dragon billion coins (mintage 50,000). This is the third of this type of Perth Mint coin the first being the "Phoenix & Dragon", the second the "Tiger & Dragon" and now the "Dragon & Dragon". Not sure what they will do for the forth coin, perhaps an Australian theme - Emu & Dragon or Koala & Dragon??
Also bought the second of their Birds of Paradice 1oz solver bullion coin.

Today I received some silver building blocks from forum member @OlliesSilverBars.
Recently I posted that I had bought some blocks made by Monarch, but was a bit disappointed that they don't interconnect with real Lego bricks. In another thread someone mentioned that Ollie's bricks do, so I bought some to test that out for myself.
As the pictures below show, the bricks arrived nicely packed in little black bags, and are the same size as standard 2x4 Lego bricks. They even have the tubes underneath that give Lego bricks their "clutch power" but on the silver bricks they aren't full size. But they do indeed stack with real Lego bricks so it's possible to make a structure mixing up the silver and actual Lego. Being hollow, the bricks are lighter than the solid 1oz Monarch blocks.
Of course, the presence of such treasure inevitably draws attention from the criminal fraternity, although small-time criminals are likely to make blunders when in pursuit of their nefarious activities that are likely to bring them to the attention of the law. Better hope the king is feeling merciful...
