The Philip Nathan Britannia is the best bullion design without question. I'm an American but the beauty and power of that image is truly timeless. I absolutely love Britannias.

Ordered a random 1/4 oz Perth Mint gold Kangaroo. I got lucky and they sent the 2018 which is one I've always wanted and think is one of the better gold kangaroos.

I am pretty much sure they will, at Apmex at least, as other issues stated as "LPM exclusive" on respective site.

Australia’s largest bird of prey, the wedge-tailed eagle, has been portrayed for The Perth Mint by renowned US engraver John M. Mercanti in a series of outstanding designs since 2014. Observed across the entire continent, wedge-tailed eagles can be distinguished by their distinctive wedge-shaped tails and fully feathered legs. The large birds favour lightly wooded country where they can hunt for prey such as rabbits, hares, lizards and snakes.

Struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, this superb investment coin portrays John M. Mercanti’s sixth artistic impression of a wedge-tailed eagle. The design depicts the bird in full flight while gripping a snake in its talons. As well as the coin’s weight, fineness and 2021 year-date, the reverse also incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
    Mintage 50'000.

My initial interest in gold/silver stems from being a supporter of the Ron Paul campaign. I never liked the debt based credit driven Keynesian system. I abhor debt and value the freedom of being solvent. In 2008 and 2012, I supported Paul for president. In 2008 he had me because of his foreign policy stance and I liked that he was fervently against the welfare state while being principled. In 2012 my support was far more nuanced and by that time I had acquired a modest amount of silver.
I began stacking silver again in 2017-18 but had never got gold yet. In 2019 I bought  my first 1/10 oz Kangaroo and it was beautiful. My gold holdings while still modest are increasing rather quickly. I have to say I always wondered why silver isn't more loved by people as it very beautiful. It always made a little upset that people don't view it on the same level as gold. Then I got gold and I can understand why people view it this way. There's just something about gold that's inexplicably alluring.

That mentality basically sums up why Western Europe is in terminal decline. If someone got rich and is successful they somehow keep people poor. It's a fascinatingly destructive mindset.

I don't believe the US owns the gold they claim. If they did then why do they fear a third party audit so much?

Don't know, not far yet, I'm guessing. But many businesses were completely shut down, and jobs were lost, instantly. Now the gov't has literally printed trillions, and are likely to do even more.
The full consequences have yet to be seen or understood, but they were set in motion instantly.

Post 🍺 virus, I now think a lot of new things are about to happen that we haven’t seen before. Hepatitis E being transmitted from Rat to human being just one of them, which in itself reminds me of the plague. Plus a lot of things we have seen before will repeat and keep repeating as history tends to do when people don’t heed their warnings.
The countries to the East like India and China who have seen their paper “money” fail time and time again over hundreds of years, value gold long term to pass on wealth.
When I’m 90 (hoping to make it that long) I believe my gold stack will have performed rather well compared to their cash equivalents and will seamlessly pass to my future dynasty.
I think the Keynesian economists in charge of the central banks have done a lot of monetary alchemy that will hit them on their butts soon.

You make a good point. I would also say another factor to consider is Basel III which makes gold a tier one asset again. We've seen how the central banks have reacted. I think it's also a game changing moment.

Everything you say is true. The debt and demographic situation is dire. I'm fully expecting at minimum around a 5x, which puts it between $6,500 to  $10,000. The upside is a number that would make most laugh as we are in a fiat currency world. Gold's potential value is infinity.
