It seems the Perth Mint 2024 Swan silver bullion coin would be nice looking one this year! But let us wait for the non-colored coin to show up before the final call.....

Perth Mint Australian Wedge-tailed Eagle 10th Anniversary 2024 1oz silver: (I think it's not that beautiful this year! The eagle head is so small. I think previous years were much better looking).

Coins are always better than bars in my view. I would choose the Kookaburra.

As an American of partial English descent, I absolutely love this Lion and Eagle. It looks amazing in gold. It goes to show how awful the US Mint is when the RM hires Mercanti to do this and it really looks sharp. The US Mint would never do a bullion product like this coin.
I hope there is a 1/4 oz gold, otherwise I'll have to save up for the full ounce which I have a difficult time doing as I'm too impulsive. Hopefully there is a ten ounce silver as well.

It is indeed strange that Germany doesn't have its own mass produced gold and silver bullion coins given that it's a ravenous bullion market. I do wonder though, what would the theme of the coin be? There are no animals that I really associate exclusively with Germany. Maybe Neuschwanstein Castle would be cool.
I wish Italy, Switzerland, India, Japan and a south American country mass produced bullion coins. It'd be nice to have more variety.

These Political clowns we keep voting for are getting desperate as the fiat system is failing. The motorist is an obvious target. They are now starting to search dustbins to make sure the right rubbish goes into the correct bin otherwise a large fine ( surprise ) . Weeds are 12 foot high in the summer. Pensions unaffordable but elections to be won .. We can go on and on.  My point is someone with a large stash of newly minted 1oz 24kt coins may as well have a large X on their backs.... on the other hand that guy with a collection of very old Queen Vics is just an old eccentric coin  collector ? Just a thought?

I very much doubt the GBP will ever make it that far.
It is decaying very fast, at an accelerating rate - just like the other paper currencies ever since 1971
Whatever will replace it matters not when it comes to the purchasing power of a gold ounce. This has been a constant through the ages, not even centuries.
Bankster deception is pricing gold in their paper 'equivalent', calling it the price of gold - like it is a commodity between oil and pork bellies.
The truth is that gold is money, and everything should be priced in weight of gold.  Don't fall for their lies..

Gold is not an investment tool. It is a hedge for preserving wealth. The buying power of gold has been constant for the past 4 centuries or so. It is the fiat currencies that have been losing their value/buying power hence the increase in price of a troz of gold (in relation to fiat currencies).

The first silver coin I bought was a 1 oz 1996 Kookaburra from eBay, way back in 2010. Have owned 100’s since then, but only have this one currently, picked up last week.

AgCoyote reacted to Bimetallic in Costco selling PAMP bars, possibly below spot sometimes
Hi all – There's been quite a bit of media coverage of Costco selling PAMP bars online. One article claimed that the price sometimes falls under spot. They're a major discount warehouse-style retailer in the US.
Limit of two bars. They keep selling out apparently. They're 1 oz Lady Fortuna bars. Online only.
When I first heard this I thought their margins must be razor thin – retailers are used to much greater markups than bullion dealers most of the time (how dealers make it work is still a mystery to me, @LawrenceChard). So it makes sense if they are indeed falling under spot occasionally – I doubt their website supports the constant real-time price updates tracking a spot price and other variables, but who knows.
The coverage is weird. It's like buying a gold bar is unheard of, like who would buy one online, and with incompetent price comparisons. And what does this mean?
"APMEX and JM Bullion sell gold by weight, quantity and price."
By price? How do you sell something by price? Anyway, the reporters are all struggling to describe a market we take for granted. It reminds me of the recurring lesson that when the media reports on something you know a lot about, you notice severe errors. Depending on the rate, it implies they're just as bad at other topics...
