    I’ve asked this question before.
If Charles has a beast of his own, he married it. The horse of Camilla.

I go away for a few years, and there are still people on here trying to predict the future, and talking BS.
Where's my $50 silver I was promised 4 years ago.
If it was so easy to make money, with all these graphs and drawing straight lines, we'd all be millionaires Rodney.
And to be honest, if I found a way of making money by predicting price movements, i certainly wouldn't be on here trying to convince people that I know what I'm doing. I wouldn't tell a soul about my methods. I'd be too busy filling my bank vault

Nothing wrong with your opinion. Each to his own so I say. What appeals to some, doesn't to others. And thank goodness for that. Wouldn't it be boring if we all liked the same things.

I'm definitely trying to get the set to enjoy it. I'm merely trying to figure out the best way to come up with a strategy to get the Lions and Griffins in a cost neutral manner as possible. So far I think that the best way is to buy as many 10 oz Unicorns and 2 oz. Yales with the hopes of trading them for Lions and Griffins. If that doesn't work then it's no worry because the Unicorn and Yale are among my favorite beasts and I'd be happy to have a large number of them in my collection. The White Lion of Mortimer has some potential to be a rock star as well.

@AgCoyote  I've also come to the 2oz party late & I am collecting these coins in slabbed form, instead of worrying about future appreciation, flipping etc & what they may or may not be worth in the future why not just collect a set to enjoy, the Queens Beasts are the most interesting series to be released for years by any national mint & have a strong worldwide following.

I received my 10 oz QB Bull of Clarence (photo posted in the photo-only forum, QB thread) yesterday, love it. I think the dragon is my favorite of the QB, followed by the unicorn and then the griffin. I'm thinking of making wooden wall hangings with the encapsulated coins inset into them. Should look really nice in my "treasure" room, aka study. 😀👍

Received the reply below to my question about assuring delivery prior to 12th April.
I am surprised a business is allowed to comment on such matters as Bretix. This from a non-British company!

    Dear customer,
Thank you for contacting GOLDSILVER.BE      Most parcel leave within 24 hours of receipt of payment.     Brexit 12th April ? We doubt it. There's no place for democraty in the EU. May is the EU's puppet. In one year discussions will not be over yet. That's how thing go in EUSSR.     Best regards,

@vand you have do what you feel comfortably with and provided done own research then you should execute your strategy without fear/doubt. I personally not buying any more large amounts of physical Gold/Silver waiting for price corrections in PMs and more favourable GBP. I can see your point looking at the spread between buy/sell price in GLD/SLV only being 1 cent compare it to the spread physical PMs.
Congrats a lot of physical Silver managed to accumulate over the last 3 years that should always give you sense of pride and accomplishment regardless of future strategy and the price of PMs moving forward it is a major accomplishment 👍.

AgCoyote reacted to Lr103 in The Queen's Beasts, or why was I on a hiatus?
I was struggling with this recently, and decided to sell some 1oz gold lions and griffins, and also 2oz silver griffins. Just looking at the premiums, I decided to do this based on reviewing the prices I could currently buy older gold and silver bullion with somewhat similar mintages (older 1oz gold Britannias from the early 2000s, Perth Mint lunar, etc) from a large dealer like APMEX with a diverse inventory.
There is no way to tell now if this was the correct move, and I do have a bit of sellers remorse, as these are beautiful coins. 😊 I'm more like @AgCoyote though in that I do plan on keeping a set together for a long term collection regardless of premium. I imagine that this type of mindset is what drives the premiums in the first place.
However, I did roll the proceeds into newer Beasts (Yale and Falcon). I prefer this rather than Eagles or Maples, because they all have the same downside (spot fluctuations), but Eagles or Maple Leafs will likely not ever develop much of a premium.  Additionally, the new issue Beasts have a lower per ounce premium than either new issue Eagles or Maples.  Although I ultimately sold the silver Griffins on eBay, even the dealers were offering a premium on their buyback offers, but at a big dieocunt relative to their own selling price.

I love the ten ounce coins and they are stunning but I think a 1 oz. version would be great too.
