I concur! William Wyon’s St George and the Dragon rendition is a more powerful depiction than Benedetto Pistrucci’s.

They just need to stop beating around the bush already and do the St. George and the Dragon in your avatar. 😆

The 1990 RM issue of Pistrucci’s Waterloo Medal came in gold, silver and bronze.
The medals are 64 mm in diameter. Gold version is 189 grams (.375 fine or 70.875 grams of pure gold). Silver version is .925 fine.
  4. Thanks

Yes, you are correct. The .375 fine Au is 9 carat gold and the .925 fine Ag is Sterling silver.

I acquired in 1992 both a .925 silver (2500 max mintage) and an antiqued bronze (5000 max mintage) of the 1990 Royal Mint release of the Pistrucci Waterloo medal.

Started seriously stacking/collecting gold just over 3 years ago and breached the 1KG level late last year. The forum has been a massive part of this journey, @ChrisSilver I thank you for creating the community and the work you put in daily to cultivating a thriving environment, long may it continue. Started with silver, then moved onto bullion gold and proof coins thereafter. There's also a bunch of others to thank for the help, guidance, advice, encouragement and inspiration to make it to this point (I'm sure I've left out a load of other peeps):

With the lovely weather of the bank holiday weekend I felt like sharing my collection so here it is. I took a load of pretty pics before putting everything back in lock up. I think I've accumulated a decent collection. I have a few outliers that I'll most probably sell on the forum at some point which are not part of below so keep a look out. I also may part with the bullion Britannia set (feel free to drop me a message if you're interested).
What next? I feel I have enough from an investment portfolio for now but I may start to pick up a few key older sovs, we'll see. Let me know what you think and thanks to you all again:

Quite a while. Started in 1984, slow. Picked up the pace late 80s to 2000. Slowed down, then to a trickle lately since retirement in 2012.
The boating accident was discouraging but at least I left most of my guns at home! (LoL) 😎
