Received the two beautifully poured 2oz silver inscribed medals with personalised coa and customized everything from @SilverStan Anniversary gifts for my parents and they were joyously received.....a huge hit. Thanks SilverStan for all the care and hard work you and your missus put into crafting them. You are an absolute star. And thank you also for including a cd-rom with it all with photos etc of the stages of crafting everything. That was a beautiful touch

SIlver has gone up about 23% in sterling this last 1/4 so in my opinion is not a good buy, I would wait for a pull back. I think silver may touch $18.This is just my take and I am playing it this way:- If we stay in the EU Gold and silver will drop back and the the £  and the euro will rally.  If Trump is defeated at the rep conference then Gold  will drop even more. If we leave leave the EU and Trump gets the Rep ticket Gold and Silver will rally even more sterling will weaken badly on the EU out news and so the the Euro. I'm playing we stay in the EU and Trump gets the ticket (he'll lose against H Clinton), I am not short Gold and Silver and do not mind taking a risk. I have opinions that I back unlike some journalist's on the TV or emails you receive.

Yes they do, both my 2oz and 1/4oz came with the screw type capsules.

I don't particularly like the obverse field's finish either,  but at least it's different, weird and kinda quirky compared to any of the others. Bit like us Brits ?

the new matt background is designed to hide imperfections/errors,
not remove them. it doesn't mean the qc is any better than it used
to be.

Couldnt agree more. If i spent every moment obsessing about my cost average etc, for me i would be bored to tears and it would take the fun out of it. I like collecting bars and i know i will most likely lose money when it comes time to sell. Ah well, its what i enjoy, and each to their own.

Just came home to find this posted through my letter box.  It's a 2014 Smithsonian Panda Medal.  Only available in slabs but I didn't want to fork for a 69 or 70.  Came via the eBay GSP but eBay didn't charge VAT even though it was over the threshold.  At some point is was cut open by a monkey and the blade has gone all the way through both sides of the envelope.  They've taped one side shut but forgot about the other side and also failed to apply the "opened and resealed" label.  Luckily the coin was still inside.
Just had a parcel sent to NZ via the GSP.  The parcel was opened for inspection and they used a knife to open the box seal which also went through several layers of bubble wrap and then into the product.
