Issue with gotten gloves is that tiny bits of cotton come off, is annoying when those bits get in between the capsule and the coins.
Nitrile gloves are better IMO though I do also use cotton gloves.

Cotton gloves are usually a waste of time imo, except for gold bullion you may wish to keep as nice as possible. They get oils from your hands as well as dust etc on the outside eventually no matter how careful you are. To wash them it's pointless in a washing machine with regular detergent as you're adding more possible contaminants.
I think they're more for show than anything.
Powder-free Nitrile one use disposable gloves are what you want imo. Also handy for lots of other tasks (clearing drains, dealing with mice etc) where you want protection for your hands but want to be able to feel what you're doing (another problem with cotton gloves is the lack of tactile 'feedback').

Today I received ... The grading result for my 2017 200th anniversary proof Sovereign set, great result with all four grading as perfect... It's my favourite modern proof after the 1989 500th anniversary edition. Didn't grade the 1/4 Sovereign, so available to purchase! Just looking for the 2012 full set now...

Well I wasn't aware that any council normally delivers food parcels to residents without good reason @sixgun  As this issue of delivering food parcels to the vulnerable and extremely vulnerable has been in the news recently, and this  discussion was about Covid-19  I stupidly thought that members on here would have realised what I was talking about.

@sixgun For an extremely vulnerable person who has been ordered to stay home for 12 weeks by her consultant and who received a food parcel in line with government action, I think your comment was out of order and pretty stupid, yes. The person concerned is NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE HER HOUSE FOR 12 WEEKS. I stand by my comment.  If you are offended, tough it out. 

Today I received my first ever Silver, with the purpose of  stacking. I have a few coins from Royal Mint in storage from before hand but mainly collector items like Beatrix Potter range and Olympic coins that I liked over the last few years.
