Thank you for sharing your story. This was really interesting and thought provoking.
I agree that the absolute key in life is to do something that makes you happy. I appreciate that this is not always possible, and indeed when you are low, it is impossible to even contemplate doing something nice. I know. I have been there. I have lost friends through my past inability to socialise and get out etc. However, the clouds do lift when you have the appropriate support and I was lucky enough that some friends did stick with me and did not give up on me. Oh! I also have a dog and can totally appreciate your perspective. He is my world and when he is not ignoring me, he is my inspiration.
I have only been on the forum for a very short while, but I have learned so much already from the members, including you! I find that the members on here are supportive, knowledgeable and caring. I agree that the forum is a very, very good free source of psychotherapy!
Anyway, thanks again for sharing. That was really powerful.
I thought as it is Mental Health Awareness week here in the UK I would talk about how silver has helped me over the last 4 years.
Please take time to check out the Mental Health Awareness week's website for more information on anything and everything to do with Mental Health awareness.
