  1. I got one of the 2009 aussie sovs from you as well at the time, boxed and in perfect condition. Just looked up the confirmation email. It was £226! must invent time travel and go get some more.
  2. Didn't realise this was out today. Stumbled upon it at break at work and bought the reverse/ proof twin set like last year. Last years did well (although the mintage was only 500 then) and the reverse looked great then.
  3. Was it a screw cap? Mine is - No idea how that would have come open in the post (unlike the sov push caps which can easily come open)
  4. Just got mine as well. Capsule closed and coin perfect luckily. Low CoA number of 0080 as well! Happy days.
  5. Nice to see it sub £300 (inc vat) as well due to the drop in silver prices recently. Good things come to those who (are forced to) wait.
  6. Bullion sov looks lovely. Interesting that they used screw caps for the bullion, but not for the proof...
  7. Mine has just turned up as well. Sadly I was charged for it when I've just checked. Boo! Lovely coin though. Looks flawless to me. Glad they did something about the opening capsules with the black foam thing
  8. Ordered a half in a blister and a full in a cap. The Royal Mint are causing big dents in my bank account these last few months! I'm sure these'll look lovely though.
  9. Today I recieved.... a barrage of unnecessary abuse 😄
  10. Laminate floor actually Was the only place i could find any light to take the pic. Blooming winter time!
  11. You guys will never guess what I recieved today!!!
  12. They could always chop the coin in 4 ("Well it did clearly state that it was 'quartered' in the advertisement Sir...") and send it in 4 separate SD parcels. They would have to charge an extra £22.50 postage then though.
  13. I would bet that the savings from changing the capsules have been wasted on paying for returns of the coin and customer service time replying to customers. Seems like a false economy to me!
  14. Regarding the actual quartered arms design. Do we know why England is represented twice (with the 3 lions and the rose), Scotland once (with the lion and the thistle) and NI once (with the harp and the clover), but Wales isn't represented at all? They were part of the UK when the original crown was issued. I did a bit of reading, but still haven't figured it out.
  15. Yes, mine is showing as 3 orders in open orders. Two with the -1 and one with no -1. I think it'll be fine
  16. The RM logistics dept would spontaneously combust if they were asked to match up CoA numbers
  17. Yep. When i got in touch with them the other day, they said: "Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing delays with the 2022 Sovereign Orders, and we are due to send out an email correspondence to all customers shortly to confirm this. We can reassure you that we are working hard and aim to despatch all orders as quickly as possible. I would like to apologise for any frustration that this delay has caused you. Once despatched, you will receive an email confirmation with the relevant tracking details. The payment will be taken from your account once your item is dispatched."
  18. Hopefully we get to see some pictures on the "today I received" thread soon!
