I'm resisting the urge to get a proof today to go along with my SOTD. I'll settle for a bullion version later in the year!

I say this because the gorgeous Platinum Jubilee mantled Coat of Arms design was also released in various denominations, including a 1/4oz gold, and after the initial excitement, the prices have stabilised.

 

I'd say the coronation design is a lot nicer than that Platinum Jubilee design though. It just looks a bit plain to me.

Yeah I always do it early. I.e. 30 mins before launch I go to the RM site via TC

Maybe a bit late, but topcashback has 4.25% on the royal mint for online purchases. Might be useful for some 

Lucky me. Was 1000 in the queue. Bought a sov and a 50p. All done and checked out.

Went for a full sov. Maybe should have just gone for a half given the mintage and cost, but it is a beautiful design. 

Got my 2 coin proof set today. Fortunately they are pretty much perfect (unlike poor BYB). And I got CoA no 600/600 which is nice.
