Lucylucy got a reaction from stefffana in Does anyone know where to source 1 0z bar felt display trays?
Hello,
When I was collecting 1 oz Bars I could not find a purpose made display box, but I eventually bought the following a couple of times from Amazon.
H&S Glass Lid 100 Ring Jewellery Display Storage Box
They have the disadvantage of having to cut the felt to take the bars, but this is not difficult and enables the cut out to accommodate slight variations in the size of the bars. The glass lid is a bonus.
Hope this helps.

Lucylucy got a reaction from HonestMoneyGoldSilver in 1 Kg Perth Mint Pig
Hello James
Thank you for your interest.
I fancied a pig as it is for my Great granddaughter who is a little obsessed with pigs. A Panda would be perfect as well.
I was a premium member of the Forum for some years but reverted to standard as I sold all of my collection (due to age!) so I don't see the SF offers before they are gone now.

I haven't seen too many ( actually any) fake kilo coins in person, that's not to say they don't exist.
There's some nice kookaburra and koala kilos at £850 currently on the forum for sale.

Thanks again . As you say the Forum is the place to buy and sell - it was always a rewarding experience and it also kept me in touch during the lockdowns, which was very beneficial.
I am still feeling sad about my collection going - it took me a long time to put it together and I really enjoyed it. It's left a bit of a hole in my life, but disposal was really the only sensible thing for me. I don't think I made a lot of profit from the sales - I made some mistakes but it gave me a lot of pleasure in my old age!
Thanks again
