Well the box arrived from NGC with 40 coins in (39 for my 1977 collection) So 2 NGC storage boxes full now of these goodies - mostly pretty high grades of 69-70 so very happy.

Ok so a huge box arrived and amongst all the packing was this

Some are for me, some are for friends who asked for stuff, some will be for sale when I get a chance.
Now the fun is over, back to the day job

Couple of proof items arrived from Germany today. Will probably be a love/hate thing for most but I like them both, the Year of the Dog is stunning IRL. 

1972-1977 Philippines 5000 Piso gold coin. Biggest Philippines gold coin minted with almost 2 troy ounces of gold. Not my picture but I do own 1 of this…

Three Lincoln sets from 1967, all with different labels, including the latest San Francisco one. All with RD designation, which is a must for my copper coins.

Two more gold coins won in auctions. Tunisia 5 dinars (9.55 gr.) and Lichtenstein medal (6.95 gr.)
 

My 2oz got a 70 grade, really like this design over the other one, i think the other is a bit too busy.

Agree, I think £1500 is a good price on these. Maybe once the main flippers have been and gone this may creep up a bit towards more the Una level, I just think the silver 2oz in general has been over graded so now it appears "common" in a 70. I have one or two to sell if they ever come back from NGC but will be keeping some for my own collection as its a lovely coin. I know there have been many issues with the silvers having issues post grading (i suspect someone put hand sanitiser on and it effected the coins when grading, just my guess), so there may be a delay for a lot of these to appear on the market. With the over 1000+ x 70 grades for the 2oz atm, I've not seen the market flooded in the way I would have expected yet.

1500 is a good price!

The last 6 or so 2oz Silvers on ebay all went 1800+ and 4 of them for 2.2-2.5k. value is a funny thing though as some coins seem to go through phases where ebay is cheaper and auctions are more and vice versa.

Gold is heading down, down, down..............sell your sovereigns to me for £275 each now before they dip down to £45 each............

My large slabs from PCGS. Four silver, one bronze and one silver/bronze. Some are definitely the first ones graded from their type.
