Me too! I sold a load of stock last week (just before gold expiry date...see below), only to buy back in yesterday...but I don’t think I will be holding for long...you have to be nimble is these volatile times!
Expiry dates for 2020:- All sorts of weird and wonderful activities go on around these dates...I try to avoid being long at these times!

Well, I think the last two days have been quite bullish for the metals. I was expecting a downturn.

Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn" is a line from the 1939 film Gone with the Windstarring Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh.

The estimated production cost for an oz gold in 2020 is $920 - $940.
That figure is just getting it out of the ground, add in transport, refining, mintage, dealer costs etc. and I would love to see how $400 is achieveable unless you are paying a 250% premium on physical metal.

The pandemic may also be short lived but the long term impact and amount of new money pumped into the system will hang around substantially longer which should benefit gold.

Well I am super chuffed on several accounts. The silver pounds are a pristine complete date run from 1983-2009!
Additionally they fit perfectly in ringed full sov capsules.

And they fit nicely in this cheap coin holder box I had but never used.

now to find capsules for the piedfort but think that’s not going to happen due to how thick they are

Andrew Maguire worked as a precious metals trader and is famous/notorious for turning whistleblower and explaining to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) how bullion banks manipulate the price of gold and silver. This became the subject of an episode of 60 Minutes. Andrew has been an advisor to the ABX Allocated Bullion Exchange and to the creation of Kinesis, which is a form of digital money fully backed by physical gold and silver.
While Andrew is highly knowledgeable about the business and mechanics of gold trading, my reservation is that he has been telling the same story for several years. He is a regular interviewee on King World News, and on numerous occasions he has given the same narrative that there is a huge mismatch between the trading of paper gold and the availability of physical, bullion bank traders rip everyone off by shorting and running the stops, the LBMA is running short of gold, there is a large pent-up demand for gold from sovereigns and high net worth individuals, a price reset of gold is inevitable.
I don't doubt that these things are true, but inevitable is not the same as imminent. Maybe the virus is the catalyst that will make things happen this year, but the capacity of the authorities to kick the can down the road should not be underestimated. We could still be years away from a major reset in price.

Very true, I love both and I'm certain the banksquiat was created with respect and a bowed head but with typical Banksy edge, I'm sure JMB would have a giggle looking down.

Fortunately, I like both artists..so can forgive Banksy for ‘seeking inspiration’ in the works of others!..after the shredder stunt at auction, how can you not admire the man!

I have an example of a 1968, but have never seen a ‘Proof Like’ Una Libra before... so ‘had to have it’👍
I can find the coin on the NGC verification page, but cannot find it listed on the census...any ideas as to where It might be recorded would be appreciated.

A coin I never thought I would see, let alone own.! After a rather unpleasant bidding war in the early hours, an erroneous VAT bill from our friends at Border Force (claim for a refund already submitted), it has finally arrived from the good old US of A 🇺🇸!
A 1961 Peruvian Una Libra (Sovereign of South America) - why so rare?.      MINTAGE - 402

Its tricky to take good pictures today (really sunny), so these pics were taken putting the coin under water to stop the glare...a first attempt..comments welcomed on another thread maybe!

    Great find.
Its reasonable to deduce that the storing has the BIS playing a part in there.
When HSBC was mentioned I laughed so much I nearly fell of my chair while eating. They are absolutely up to their necks in financial terrorism. I highly recommend searching on Google "nicholas wilson hsbc" that exposes the depth of them. Its incredible.
Im honestly getting more dejected every day with the layers and layers of these people by how obscene and corrupt it all is while no one really cares other than us little guys having to maneuver through the system which forces us to stack gold or silver to hedge against the acts of global gangsterism.
