Welcome aboard.
I don't know if that's genuinely your postcode in your location, but if so it's best removed.

Norskgeld got a reaction from Pm1987 in Colourised coins.
I got a Brexit Brit with a colourised shield back in 2017.
Paid a premium for it but reckon it would only sell for bullion.
Only worth collecting but not worth stacking.

Norskgeld reacted to Stuntman in Whats your fav silver coins
I've posted these photos before, but here are some of my favourite UK predecimal coin designs (florins and halfcrowns, and then some early milled shillings) . I think the various George IV and William IV halfcrown designs are well worth adding to your list above 🙂

Norskgeld reacted to stefffana in Whats your fav silver coins
I love all circulated silver coins. All of them has plenty of stories to tell. They seen the previous times, participated active at history, been in dirty hands or in silver purses, seen live the high life and the povetry, been exchanged or stolen, kept in pockets or between tits, paid for food, drinks, goods or guilty pleasures.... Just I can't stop collecting them!
The modern BU coins .999 are only pieces of cold metal, no tales to tell from tubes.

🇫🇷 France 5 Francs 1854-A (Paris) – Napoleon III – Reeded Edge – NGC MS65
A sublime example for this type and variety. Sharply struck, borderline proof-like, and most deserving of the gem uncirculated grade (MS65) assigned by NGC.

Norskgeld reacted to GoldCore in Don’t miss out: Silver buying opportunity
With the gold price making headlines once again it can sometimes be a bit too easy for silver to disappear into the background. But this is when it’s even more important to pay attention to the silver price, given its relationship with the yellow metal. So it was with great interest that I spoke to David Morgan, the Silver Guru himself, on GoldCore TV.
Astonishingly it’s been nearly two years since we last spoke to David, so as you can imagine there was a lot of ground to cover in this short 30 minute interview. From the gold and silver ratio, to the decoupling of the silver price from gold, to the shortage of silver through to the role of silver as a metal of war.
We talk about whether or not silver has been “disenfranchised” as money over the past century in favour of gold. And also take a look at how industrial demand for silver from sectors like solar panels will continue to increase dramatically. So will it be industrial demand or investment demand that serves the silver market best in the future? And is it still the metal of war? We look at geopolitical instability and concerns about fiat currencies as potential catalysts for renewed interest in silver.
As ever let us know your thoughts on the interview. Do you agree with David’s outlook on silver? Has this interview got you thinking about your next silver investment? Let us know!

I’m an awful saver. As in zero savings ever! I like things I buy them!
However…..
I started buying Gold & Silver at the start of December last year. I now have around £7000 saved in Precious Metals at current spot price.
For those of us that struggle to save I can’t think of anything better than Gold to buy.
You get something physical to hold onto, it’s beautiful to look at and very easy to sell if you desperately need the funds!
The very best thing about it though is once you have it, you want more and you don’t want to sell it!
Perfect scenario for me

I can't answer all your questions but I might recommend keeping most of the gold CGT-exempt. UK legal tender coins (24K Britannias, QBs, sovs, etc) are CGT-exempt whereas 24K bars are not
