  3. 2023 KC III Coronation Proof 3 Coin Sovereign Set. Sovereign- Half Sovereign- Quarter Sovereign. Be quick at only £945 Posted SD- or £925 if purchased this evening.
  4. Wanted- a 9ct Gold Curb Chain but other design considered. Ideally between 15g and 25g in weight and 18’’ and 21’’ in length. Please drop me a PM to discuss further. Cash or Gold Bar/part cash trade.
  5. Yes- the 2022 issues were also available in both fineness too- but not the inaugural Charles III so I have stuck to the 22ct.
  6. My Gold (and Silver) Sixpence vanity project continues with the 2022 Elizabeth II & 2023 Charles III 22ct Gold issues. Beautiful John Bergdahl designs- these to follow on from the 2021 (the inaugural Gold) issues in both 22 & 24ct Gold. Thanks again to @SilverMike for parting with the 2021’s a while back and introducing me to these sweet little Gold coins.
  7. I really don’t know why you would write this drivel- I’m speechless
  8. Thanks James, but I already have this 2020 Set- but a great price for someone 👍
  9. @Roy take your capital back and reinvest the £12k by hoovering up as many Memorial and Coronation Proof Sovereign issues as you can find at the current depressed prices and tuck them away for a few years 😎 Nice profit by the way 👍
  10. I remember when someone here on the forum- I can’t remember who-sussed out on 6th March 2019, that Hatton Garden Metals were offering 1oz Gold Queen’s Beasts Lions for £1036 each- members here on TSF hammered the ‘deal’. At the time, Gold Price was £978- so a 6% premium, which was unheard of for a QB. I bought, and paid for mine, but they didn’t honour the price for anyone- they contacted me by telephone to explain it was a mistake- following my protest to the salesperson she offered to make amends and bought me off, with a discount on the premium of 1x Victoria YH Shield.
  11. My spoils from the recent Bullion By Post Black Friday promotion. A collective saving of £296 off the Royal Mint issue price for the Sovereign & Half Sovereign- and the offer sweetened further with 2 free 1oz Silver Britannia- one for me, and one for the Goldfish in their ‘refer a friend’ promotion. Essentially the Half Sovereign weighing in at only £45 after factoring in the savings and the freebie Silver- well, it justifies my unplanned purchase.
  12. Lovely Sovereigns, great work! Good luck collecting the remainder 👍
  13. 1937 George VI Sixpence PCGS PR66 Cameo £125 NOW SOLD Thanks.
  14. The following Coronation Sovereigns are still available and in stock on the Bullion by Post website with fantastic discounts in their Black Friday sale, great savings, particularly the 5 Coin Set and the Sovereign: 5 Coin Set £4464 Sovereign £527 Half £286 Quarter £175 Piedfort £1164 As @bobski points out above- You can also ‘refer a friend’ (Wife, Dog, Goldfish etc.) to BBP and receive a 1oz Silver Britannia for each order 👍
  15. Agreed! They are scratchy! This is a 5 Sovereign graded by PCGS PR67 DCam (not mine!). Photos are deceiving!
  16. I think it’s nigh on impossible to assess the grade of an 86 year old proof coin from photos- I wouldn’t even hazard a guess- photographs lie! Here’s my 1937 5 Sovereign- the upper (or left side) photo makes the coin look fantastic the other looking like a dog! Incidentally, I have only graded one coin from my 1937 Set- the Sovereign, and it achieved a PF65 Cameo- the set is reasonably consistent 5 Sovereign to Half- the 2 Sovereign would likely achieve the lowest grade. Beautiful Set you have there Clive 👍 Good luck with the grading🤞
  17. Thanks @Orpster for the lovely Elizabeth II Jubilee Crown, lovely coin with frosting as thick as treacle. And thank you to @ST1986 for the opportunity to purchase such a wonderful 5 Sovereign.
