in about a week will have in hand and I play with the bar 😋

The risk is less when you buy quite older coins. If they were going to spot, this has happened already. I speak of course about several years old, more than five, probably even ten. Just a few years don't guarantee anything concerning milk spots, even inside slabs. 🙄

I recieved this this 3 coin Perth Mint Kookaburra 3 coin 2000 proof set. With only 128 sets around.
Unfortunately i have to send it back to Australia because the 10oz has quite a big milk spot. 😓😪

This trio of México Gold has brought some light to a murky Yorkshire day. 
A 1926 50 Pesos Centenario, a 1959 (Restrike)Veinte 20 Pesos & a 1907 Diez 10 Pesos.  The Cinco 5 Pesos is en route.  
This trio joining the 1946 Centenario and Dos Pesos, only a 2 1/2 Pesos to source. 














 
 

Got another 3 old school libs now that's the tube of 20 (different dates) done 👍 now onto the next goal which I think will be a tube of Mexican 1968 Olympic 25 pesos 

good job, that would be a deadly weapon😉

Visit to Dublin Coin Fair yesterday and came back with a few eagles and two 1/10 Lunars. Best catch was the 5 gr. platinum Pamp at a bargain price. 😎
 

Nice to see everybody’s Kookaburra riots. I’m up to date with the 1oz run and I’ve started the 10oz. I think my favorite is the 2009 but I really like the 2020 ones, also. I’ve attached some random photos from my phone as some eye candy. Keep the pics coming...

An amazing present to give today for my wife’s birthday. Thank you so much @BackyardBullion for making this and all your messages during the process. 

I've still yet to pick up a 2019 F15, prices are still a little high so am waiting a while as they will come down, just have to wait for people to break the sets.
Always more difficult as a 10k mintage,  I do agree there have been an awful lot of privys with the kooks, but that's why I collect, to get them all , got plenty of Generic stuff and weight to off set my premium collections, but you cant beat adding to sets and searching out the more difficult coins to find. It's what it's all about 😁
 
 

One of my scrap dealers had pure silver wire yesterday. So I bought it and made myself a scorpion 🦂 
Not as neat as I had hoped but didn’t have the right tools to bend properly so hand twisted. I guess not terrible for first attempt. Might practice with copper wire till I get it nice looking then try silver again.

Have over 1,000 US junk silver coins. Went through them last weekend. But nothing special in there, no doubled dies, no key dates, no missing mint marks Was time to get some higher quality coins. Got these 4 from Ebay.
 

I went to a family wedding in New Zealand and was there for 3 weeks, this gave me a lot of time to scour the tinternet for some job lots, bargains and nice coins, i didn't realise how much i had bought until i came home 🙈

Another delivery of 8 old school libs and the white lion from @ATL85 only 3 more libs now for a tube of 20 so I will see what I can dig out at the coin fair.

When I saw the mintage figures for the 2020 Proof Half Sovereign - a tiny 2000! - I knew I had to pick one up, especially after my dad ordered the accompanying proof full sovereign. I was quite lucky with the mintage number here, being #308! Second gold coin in my growing stack, and the second half I own.

Sometimes I like to stack spoons...

@BSquared Collect the Privy KOOKS at your peril...I do, and it has cost me a small fortune (but it’s also been a pleasure). Having said that, to get them all we are talking less than £5k GBP, so not too bad financially compared to other coins!
Information on them is also hard to come by.
Do I regret collecting them...No

PS I started by collecting the 1oz BU coins from 1990, but that was too easy...I then went after the Privy coins. If you have any specific questions on these, the forum is a great place to obtain information..just ask!
