Not as yet, I have put pm's on the back burner for now, going to concentrate on paying the gas bill. π

I had to drop some new items off at safe deposit box yesterday, so took my camera along to finally see my gold stack together - viewing room table wasn't big enough to get everything into one shot Β For someone who could never hold onto money in his 20s I think IveΒ done OKΒ

Thought I would post my progress, moved from silver to world gold then to English graded (apart from the shipwreck Clive of india treasure) and this is where I am up to so far, with an ms61 1718 quarter guinea and ms61 1855 half sov sent for conservation and regrade and awaiting their return to join the others, small but nice stackΒ

JunkBond got a reaction from Jvw in What is a popular coin to collect and complete date runs with?
I have a few date runs amongst my half sov collection, Victoria Jubilee Head,Β Edward and George plus the first two portraits of Elizabeth.
Was much more fun than just stacking lots of duplicates.

JunkBond reacted to sixgun in Unknown Johnson Matthey 1oz Bar
This bar is indeed rare. It is worth as much as someone is prepared to pay. There is only a small number of people who are prepared to pay a big price but in the end you only need one such person.
Personally i think i would pay up to say Β£250 - there is a reasonable chance i could sell it again for Β£250 and cover other costs i might incur. After that i would say you are overpaying. That doesn't mean there aren't people who will over pay (as we are informed happened), it happens everyday but your chance of finding someone who would pay Β£300 or Β£350 etc gets slimmer and slimmer as the price rises.Β
The OP has got shut of the bar and it seems has made a good profit. If it had been me and i had got it at a good price i'd keep it b/c i would just like to keep the bar.

Vintage silver bars have outgrown the coin case so I sourced an old strong box for storage duties.
Good time for a photo update. π

JunkBond got a reaction from dicker in Trading Platforms
Agree with @Stacktastic, I am using 212 and have no complaints. They introduced a small fee for card transfers recently I think but it's free to bank transfer funds.
They have a decent selection of stocks, I have pretty much always been able to buy what I want. π

JunkBond reacted to Bumble in Uranium - talk to me people :)
Sprott Inc has now completed its takeover of the North Shore Global Uranium Mining ETF (URNM). It will be run as Sprott Uranium Miners ETF. Given Sprott's big client base, it is plausible to suppose that it will attract quite a bit of investment interest, so it should be a good way to get a broad exposure to uranium miners. Sprott already own Sprott Physical Uranium Trust Fund (SRUUF) which owns uranium directly.
