  1. Aye - I am quite aware of the person that has been doggedly pursuing this. Its not new. Only thing is the person we are discussing is different to the one you mean as far as I know. And this person is just drawing attention to the situation more than it deserves. However I think @Nick1368 was right to highlight it in the forum now that we have a recorded public admitting of wrong doing.
  2. In this instance the shill bidder has admitted in public that he was doing that AND that he would do so again if his coins go for below his buying price. And this was only today.
  3. Reducing it to 465 today I stock a lot of sovereigns here bud.
  4. Love a bit of vintage Indian gold. Seen these sell in Spinks but never a 1/4 tola
  5. We charge a refining fee I can work out costs for you depending on volume
  6. I have tried this - there just isnt a market for home poured 925 bars. No one wants unhallmarked ones and good luck getting a premium on them. I have access to a lot of scrap silver and had to start refining again
  7. I have a feeling it’s a Celtic sword belt I can’t find a photo of a complete one. But this looks quite similar
  8. Hold something else. Almost like a rope size
  9. Normally I would say yes, but this weighs over 800gm and each strand is over a metre long…
  10. Yeah I had it narrowed down to being Irish especially as it has shamrocks on it. Just not sure what it is
  11. It’s old and guns at 90% silver. Other than that would love some help identifying
  12. I buy a lot, between 3-50kgs a week. Depends how much and what purity
  13. My favourite pick ups of all time. 1/10oz pure 9999 gold animals. Should have been a set of 12 (zodiac) but three were damaged beyond recovery so a set of 9. Stunning pieces.
  14. I would say a few things here: £380-420 is the going range for these retail direct. ebay has high fees so no way a dealer would accept below the £420 mark. I know I wouldn’t. I think a lot of dealers get fed up with low offers in your case you offered 15% less. Keep in mind end fees and cost bud end up 10-16% plus they have other costs as ongoing business. Essentially your offer means they are making just about spot or a few quid on this coin. May just have decided don’t want to deal with you in the future and decided to burn the bridge. I have one spare at £380 plus post if you still want one.
  15. https://www.crushthestreet.com/cts-news/mark-the-date-june-28-will-be-a-huge-day-for-gold Interesting information for those that follow big market moves.
  16. 2x2 are pretty good especially if you get an album for them. A lot of my world silver is in them
  17. I too see way too many of these. Always with the original receipt which is depressing. These guys market them as investment as well, over the phone, they should really be taken to task over it one day.
  18. That one looks like a 0.5oz one. The centre is 999 silver the outer is brass
  19. One of the best vintage Indian silver bars I have seen. With the providence that’s. Supper keeper.
  20. Been a bit selective lately trying to keep the premium stuff when I get it cheap. This poor 1937 half sov has seen better days, but good enough as a filler.
  21. There are no Numismatic shops really - most including us sell bullion or sets etc. 4 of those you listed dont sell to public.
  22. Jewellery Quarter is where most are - the rest are going to cost you way more. (we are based in Jewellery Quarter)
  23. Have wanted these XAG one ozzers for a while. Thanks to @arshimo2012 for them.
  24. I most definitely have the fractionals bug again. Picked up this element card. Now wishing I hadn’t sold my combi 1gramers lol 😂 7 needed to complete sigh.
