Piggybank reacted to arphethean in My silver Panda collection!
I received these three fabulous coins recently. Coins I have been keeping an eye out for many months to complete my 1oz silver panda collection.

Before 1989 there were only proof pandas issued and in relatively small numbers. 1987 was a full ounce of .999 silver but 1985 is only 27g of. 900 silver.
The 1999 is the scarce "large date serif 1" variety from the Shenzhen Guobao mint, and finally joins the 1999 trio to complete this year.

I now have every year and type of "1oz" (including 27g and 30g) silver panda except the 1983, 1989 mirror fields and the exceptionally elusive 2001 "small D".

Maybe I should do an updated photo shoot?

    The reason for this sale?
Today, I was fortunate enough to acquire a PF70 "Platinum Jubilee" Gold Five sovereign at a very fair price. As a result, I am now looking to raise a few thousand quid by selling off some smaller pieces from my gold stack over this weekend while I'm off work.
Apologies for the lack of single photos, this has happened at short notice. Currently, ALL the gold is in safe deposit box storage, (The images shown are the last time I had all my stack at home with me last year) I can provide photos of any item upon request, when i visit safe deposit box tomorrow & Sunday.
    Background
I am not a full time dealer or a serial trader/flipper and I don't list items for sale here every week. I normally may only put a sale up here once or twice a year -  My previous sales of mine have always been popular
I try to price fairly and sensibly with current values .  Hopefully i'm not wildly out

Dispatch Time: All gold is stored in a safe deposit box located approximately 45 minutes away. I always aim to dispatch orders ASAP within 1 working day, but on some occasions, it may take an extra day to retrieve the item from the safe deposit box due to my work/family commitments.

No sane person would voluntarily choose to use a CBDC over their current digital currency but the powers that be will try and force you to use it using various incentive and threat methods. This is what they did in China and Nigeria when they introduced their CBDCs. Have some optimism for this situation though. In both China and Nigeria all of the people there are fiercely resisting using CBDCs despite the various incentive and threat methods their governments have used and CBDC adoption in both countries has been is extremely slow and is already stalling badly.
All we have to do to stop CBDCs from happening is for enough people to refuse to use them when buying things and refuse to accept them as payment if people try buy things from you. Just use any form of currency other than a CBDC when making or receiving payments.

With the help of some TSF members, which I will keep anonymous in order to help protect the community when investigating potential future instances, and some admin investigation...

We have today banned a new member who was found to be abusing/manipulating the trading feedback system to create false feedback on trades that never took place on TSF.

The decision to ban was also made as we also believed that this person could have posed a potential trading risk to TSF members. TSF prides itself on having one of, if not the, most honest online marketplaces for trading precious metals. This year alone there have been over 5046 new trade topics started, with many trade topics containing huge lists of precious metals items for sale. Many thanks for those members who choose to buy and sell on TSF.

Please do see the following topic and re-read to remind yourself on some simple tips in order to help reduce risk as much as possible when trading on TSF:

Many thanks to Premium Members who help to support and maintain TSF. For those who would like to support TSF please do consider purchasing Premium Membership as this helps greatly in maintaining and growing TSF. 😬 - Look out below.

Im not going there, but I very much disagree - the whole thing was orchestrated and planned
All media across the world had the same wording & message. Too the tee.
Way too much evidence now for anyone who has the bravery to look at the figures
& think logically rather than on emotion & constant news conditioned conditioned belief system..
The one thing i will add is its not Russia vs Ukraine, but Russia vs nato.

Givernments have a choice and most times they choose power - as has every tyrant in history.
2020 was Joseph Gerbles wet dream, but it never works for long does it?

This is very off topic, anyone got support levels at all that knows how to chart? I shall have look tomorrow.

What a load of baloney - Covid wasn’t the government’s fault (Labour/Conservative/whoever). Nor was Ukraine being invaded by Russia. Whoever was in power is in for a lose lose situation. It is what it is and our children & grandchildren will be paying for it for the next 40 years!

My bank kindly rejected a transfer I made (below £300) to another member for a coin. A simple fraud check.... No biggie.... You'd think!
I called to say it didn't go through, assumed they'd do a check, ask a few questions and then authorise it. But they said they needed 72 hours to look further in to it. They ask where I purchased the item (I guess when they heard it's a forum it'll set alarm bells ringing perhaps....)
I then called a few times over that 72h period pushing for answers (as I am not happy they've put a block on my account). I can make debit or credit card payments. I seem to be able to pay existing payees. But I can't do any new bank transfers as there is a block on my account until this is resolved. Each time I'm fobbed off "I can see they have taken some action on it but it's not completed yet" (what the hell does that mean?!) Luckily I'm at my spending limit anyway so won't be purchasing for a while - but it's the principle!
We are now at six days. Double the quoted time they said they would take to get back to me. I have made a formal complaint about that of course.
I'm livid that they are allowed to control the way I spend MY money for this long!
I'm guessing they are digging deep on this one by the sound of it (perhaps seeing that in recent times, instead of buying clothes from the internet, I have been paying various random people by bank transfer - which is going to look a bit dodge I guess!) So I'm predicting they'll question many payments/receipts etc. Fine. I've nothing to hide (but what an inconvenient waste of time and faff!)
So, have any of you had similar to this? What did you have to do? How long? etc
Also, if I have to provide proof of purchases, then most members (who are not businesses) of course don't supply invoices. So do I provide screen shots of the listing of any queried transactions? Along with copies of any correspondence messages for evidence? Is that adequate proof? Is that even allowed for the sake of GDPR?
I don't like this one bit!!!! I'm also going to change current account because of it (due to the unacceptable time they're taking), however I currently cannot even change banks while there's a block on my existing one!

Piggybank reacted to AR03 in Ebay buyer started bank dispute after receiving two gold coins
Hi, a buyer bought a gold one ounce last week, received it and then bought another one this week, which was received yesterday. Today they open a dispute saying bank doesn't recognise the transaction, hence the funds are on hold. Funds are about £4000. I have challenged it and sent Proof of delivery, but anyone had this experience before. Can I name the buyer here so others who sell on ebay can be cautious?

My week ended with all of these lovely pieces. I said I would not be a collector. I said I would only stack CGT exempt silver and gold. I said I'm only in this for investment purposes only. Well, all that went belly up didn't it? 🙄

Which auction and where was it held ?
So the winner pays a huge fee and the seller loses a chunk of change as well.
Trotters Independent Traders comes to mind.
