Sending back ‘return to sender’ won’t cost them anything, Royal Mail don’t charge for that.
If you don’t want to receive any more just send one back marked ‘Gone away’.  They will think you have moved then and should stop sending them.

@sixgun Flipping over to different entities for trading allowances, parents, in-laws, the wife etc. sounds like blatant tax evasion (the illegal one) rather than tax avoidance.
Lets be honest here, your parents, in-laws, the wife etc. are they going to do the sales listings, the shipping and record keeping?
Yes we could set up a Ltd company and this is easy. But we don't want to set up a Ltd company. That comes with significant privacy issues and a hell of a lot more administrative burden.
I would just like to re-iterate the point here that if you are selling something (even CGT exempt coinage) AS A TRADE as determined by HMRC then you will need to a) register for self assessment if you are a sole trader and/or b) if you hit £85,000 turnover register for VAT.
The setting up of multiple entities and using of other peoples allowances or even getting your partner to "act" as a sole trader is just asking for trouble. We could very easily have set up "Mrs BYB" as a sole trader selling hand poured silver my business "sold" her. But lets be honest here, HMRC would simply look at this as evasion and rightly so.
There is a fine line between avoidance (legal) and evasion (Illegal) and there are a lot of suggestions coming on this and the other thread I started that fall very much into the evasion category.

Ok, so lets say you are right. The logical step is to now challenge it directly. Genuinely, do you think you will ? Will you continue to be the slave that all of us apparently are ?

Imagine a bird called democracy accelerating towards a cliff edge, wings spread and trying to take flight. Now picture just under half of the UK population including most of the politicians at the last moment grasping on to the birds legs as it steps over the cliff.
We are at the part between falling off the cliff edge and hitting the floor.

In the end I decided it’s not worth the risk.  Becoming VAT registered actually gave us a kick up the butt to expand further.  We couldn’t increase our prices to compensate for the VAT element as it would have made us uncompetitive.  So for a while our profit decreased until our turnover grew to a certain level.  The incentive to increase turnover was certainly there!

I go away for a few years, and there are still people on here trying to predict the future, and talking BS.
Where's my $50 silver I was promised 4 years ago.
If it was so easy to make money, with all these graphs and drawing straight lines, we'd all be millionaires Rodney.
And to be honest, if I found a way of making money by predicting price movements, i certainly wouldn't be on here trying to convince people that I know what I'm doing. I wouldn't tell a soul about my methods. I'd be too busy filling my bank vault

I have often thought that topics with several images can get very overblown after a few replies that quote the original post. It makes scrolling to the bottom a chore and also reading the replies buried among the miriad of images.
On a PC this is but an inconvenience that I live with but on a metered mobile connection, it is a definite problem.
I discovered this over the weekend when I was browsing t'internet and scanning the forum for new posts. I was away from home and had to do with an ipad using internet sharing on my phone. In a very short time, i had used several hundred megs af data, approx half my monthly allowance.
Now when I am replying to such posts at home, I tend to delete the images from my reply. This is a PITA and I notice very few other people do this.
Would it be possible to have a reply option alongside "quote" along the lines of "Quote without images" or similar?
This would make browsing the site a lot quicker, save data (which would also benefit the site's download bandwidth and save money) and make reading these posts a lot easier and pleasurable.

Recently purchased another Gairsoppa 10oz 4700 mintage bar.  Comes in some really nice packaging and high gloss wooden box but unfortunately like a few others I have seen the inner skin of the box was damaged.
Stripped it down and had a look and its only made from very thin plastic with a flock coating to give it a velvet feel :
A quick 3D modelling session in tinkercad and a replacement is done then 3D printed.
Just ordered a flock kit so will look and feel as original but much stronger
