    Also, Buying shares is subject to stamp duty and dealing fee, selling has a deaing fee also. If you're trading £10k or £100K then the dealing fees become a very small percentage but if you're down at the £2k mark (the cost of a 1oz bar) then you can easily be paying 1 or 2% if not more.
