The 2002 sovereign from eBay brought me to this forum so thanks to @Pete
2005 Australian sovereign particularly happy as paid spot way back July when gold was cheap....
2005 British sovereign from eBay I think I did well as not seen anyone selling one for less.
A couple of Pandas cause who doesn't like them.
And finally some Perth mint Dragon coins which caught my eye so now I'll be committed to that series 🙄.

Had these lovely sets of proof libertads turn up today 
😍 possibly start of an addiction they are stunning 

Not yet got anything from this, but this big tub is waiting for me to go through at my dealers  

I have this variety... 1862 R over R in Victoria, anyone else have one of these , I wouldn't mind having a look at other images of this variety.

So picked one up today that looks odd. Sydney but the “s” is way too close, never seen one like this

Just got my military set back by PCGS, very happy every coin got a 70 grade. This set may not be as popular as the culture set which has Kew Gardens but it is equally stunning.

Received these little gems today, not a bad grading result from the same set! Would consider a straight trade for an Aston Martin...

First gold purchase in a while, a jubilee head 1887 Sydney sovereign

Both purchased from the Forum . A 1959 full sovereign that's another date run complete thanks to ilovesilverireallydo  and a 1902 matt proof half sovereign .

hard to find in UC or DCAM Grade 
only 6 graded by NGC 

What a lucky lad I am and the gamble I took landed.
Thanks to@Numistacker for all his effort in getting these back to me.  The Sovereign was conserved by NCS prior to Grading as it had been handled and sustained fingerprints.  
And a special thank you to @ilovesilverireallydo For selling this James Butler Sovereign to me in the first instance.  It’s one of my favourite QEII portraits, alongside the Machin and Maklouf but not surpassing Mary Gillick’s effigy.

I always land myself in trouble with Sovereign Mintage figures 😂- apparently, Spink is the most accurate resource- but according to Marsh (2017)- 2015 Sovereign and Half Sovereign figures:
Half- 4th IRB Portrait= 4,600 and 5th JC Portrait= 1,100 & Sovereign- 4th IRB Portrait= 9,800 and 5th JC Portrait= 8,800 
Don't update your spreadsheet just yet- I'm sure I'll be corrected here.

Freshly back from the graders, the jewels in my 2005 collection. 3 x 70 and consecutive grading numbers. Chances of it happening again, slim to say the least. Thanks @Numistacker. 😁😁😁
 

 

1871-S: Shieldback MS62 Mint Error
Now as everyone knows I've viewed many 1000s of sovereigns, and not once even with high scrutiny have I seen this type of error before, in fact because I only collect sovereigns I didn't even know it existed 🙄
Interesting little coin and bonus grade!
Shame the holder sits right where the error is, may break the slab! 
 

Just received the 1996, 1997 and 1998 proof sovereigns. Bought these from an Australian auction. They look great!
