Bagged some discounted sovereigns in a Black Friday promotion.  1931 George V, 1908 Edward VII, 1958 Elizabeth II young-head, and an 1866 Young Victoria shield-back.     👌

My 6 coin gold proof set Britannia 2014 is now at home. I was so fortunate  to get this rare set and moreover, it was a really great, nice  and straightforward deal with  @gizmo1947, thanks to him. 
This set now joins my other  beautiful 3 gold coin premium set, I bought a few months ago, thanks to @Numistacker , and my silver coins.
Now I just miss the 5oz Gold  (with a low premium of course !)
Did I say that I love these 2014 Britannia ?

Today I bought this 2018 proof sovereign for the price of a bullion version from my local dealer in the High Street.

Mrs 5huggy treated me to an Royal Mint  lapel pin for my birthday!!!

Start of next year came today

Today I received a parcel that was so interesting, that it was opened on two continents by authorities:
South America 

 
and Europe

 
maybe because it was organic matter flown in from Colombia in a nice 2 kg block but it was actually just heavy literature 

 
luckily the coins that this heavy literature is referencing came well packaged on Monday, thanks to @Lr103 who I cannot thank enough for his assistance.

(I now have a set of 9 silver 1977 25p crown proofs at PF69). I know they are not "big value" coins and not hugely rare but, collect what you love and coins from 1977 are my "thing" so very happy

Just got the 1911 double sovereign today (PCGS PR67DCAM), amazing coin! Here’s the TrueView image from PCGS:

Picked up some slabs from NGC this week, nice trip down to the smoke and NGC handy for Euston/KIng's Cross😊
Took a few pics before they went to storage.
