With this quantity a local coin store could be a great option if you have one nearby.

I’ve had good luck selling bigger quantities like this to online dealers such as JMBullion or APMEX, but insured shipping will be expensive and cut into your proceeds. But it’s really easy to do.
I would also encourage you check out the forum trade sections. My sense is that you will get higher prices over time, but might need to sell in smaller batches at first to earn a good reputation as a seller.

    Good luck! 🙂

My name is Rich, and I am a passionate collector of all things silver and an owner of a small fan site dedicated to silver collecting. I'm happy to have discovered this forum and will undoubtedly include it on my website's list of top-notch resources for fellow silver collectors. Hi there,
Hope everyone is well, I’m John from Scotland, I’m retired and have a few hobbies like watch repairing and small antique sales.  I’d like to learn how to perhaps buy some bullion coins that can be left for my family when I’m gone, or if I last another 20 years maybe a 5 star cruise for myself!!
    Best regards
    John

Hi there, finally I decided to take my heads off the trading charts and use some on my hard earned money to buy something tangible and shiny. Problem is: I have no idea about what I am doing.

Since it looks like there is no 'newbie' section I'd like to use this thread to ask a couple of mostly harmless yet very noobish questions. First that comes to mind is: I understand all the 'self-custody' argument and I endorse it wholeheartedly, but as far as I have seen coins and bars (both in silver and gold) cost a pretty hefty premium compared to any type of paper-metal. 1oz silver coins go for 30 to 50 €, 1kg ingots for 820++ €. The spread on gold is not as outrageous but still remarkable. How do you justify paying such a premium? Is this a hobby for collectors or 10+ years hodlers only?

    Hey folks!
I'm brand spanking new to the silver game. Purchased my first 2 pieces in the form of 2023 Krugerrands a short while ago. My intention at this early stage is to stack but things can change I guess.
Looking forward to making God knows how many mistakes along the way lol. You pay for your education as they say, but I am dead excited.
Looking forward to meeting you all also! Take care!

Hi all! New to silver and collecting PMs in general. To be honest I actually became interested in silver by looking at pictures on a watch forum (another expensive hobby!) - one member's collection had a small silver bar nestled up between 2 watches and it got me thinking. Fast forward a few weeks and I've just picked up my first 1oz coin and it's all in from here!
It's early days so I don't know if I'd call myself a stacker or a collector yet. I know that gold gives a far better value to size ratio and so part of me thinks that, should I become a stacker more than a collector, Britannias or sovereigns is maybe a better way to go. That being said I do like the idea of owning a kilo of silver, so maybe I'll collect my first 33 coins and then see how I feel after that!

not yet published i think , but would be in the region of 11k or so .
many people would end up wanting this coin rather than collecting  all 10 , secondly there is no 1/4 ounce gold so the 1/4 gold collectors may want the 1oz coin as well

I probably would just buy the less expensive one, but there are plenty of people who seem to be willing to pay a big premium for Eagles, so they are pricing to the market.
The premiums are on both sides of the trade as well.:.I was recently emailed a promotion from APMEX offering to buy silver Eagles for $10 over spot.

I'm a life member of our local Coin Club (Cupertino Coin Club), and a member of American Numismatic Association.  Look forward to dealing with fellow members here.

Hi people, happy to join this forum, seems to be quite well organised. I’m in Europe and and amateur at stacking. I want to fuel my passion for the years to come with lots of tips from the forum. It’s definitely more fun than counting the coins in a room by myself 😅
