Im no chart buff but its interesting looking at the gold chart in £ compared to in $. Just shows that gold isnt gaining as much as you’d think, but the pound is becoming more worthless by the day.
 

just be happy what you own is rising in value. have a review of your stack and perhaps take the opportunity to sell some things that don't fit in with your strategy or just take some profit. hold the money back to buy on the next dip.

Gold seems to just keep creeping up these last week or two!

@MikeSol, Looks like the incise possibly used to check for counterfeiting back in the nineteenth century. Definitely a great coin and a true example of history.

1817 Sovereign, Damaged but wanted an example of this design.

Also a 1989 Half Sovereign bought using the eBay 10% Discount.

Yeah, I think I'm a bit too fond of fondling things for graded coins to work for me. Also I am not sure I could really tell the difference between a mediocre AU versus an MS etc

Have you got the drill in reverse???
Next time before you drill, use a punch or a screw and smack it with a hammer center on the coin, will be easier to drill
