This is a great time to hoover up good quality, recent proofs at not much more than bullion.
What more needs to be said except you have to have the cash of course!

I love the Perth Mint coins however the designs can be hit and miss. As far as silver bullion quality is concerned - I have always been happy with them and they are most impressive to look at.
I personally love the 10oz Kookaburra coins. Weighty, chunky and slightly different size to the RM 10oz coins. Much much nicer finish too IMO.

I think asking on forums is a perfectly valid way of doing research, it is why it’s called a forum
If someone else has already got the information the OP wants, or even just an opinion like mine, sharing it not only saves the OP time but anyone else who has a SOTD at grading and sees the post.  I also think active discussions like this encourage traffic to the site from google searches and potentially bring in new members.  If that search shows members being dismissive it will have the opposite effect.

Really sorry this had happened to you.
Should you not be able to get your money back I would like to offer a few bits of silver as a gesture.  Its not much as I don't stack silver but a couple of nice poured pieces, some fractional proofs, a proof 1937 crown and a lonely brit.  Let me have your address on pm once you know and I will get it posted to you.  Its an eclectic mix but a couple of interesting pieces

Beautiful gesture and something I thought about doing myself, decided against it as it will set a precedent unfortunately. It will be like raising a flag saying come and have a go, hey guys you can scam on the silver forum as they look after their own.

I’m willing to put up 5oz of silver bullion to go towards the members who got took on.

There must be enough good eggs on here to ensure those who lost out get at least some bullion.. Perhaps @BackyardBullion could be the intermediary for those who wish to donate?

They mean the last two years (2020 and 2021) there were no Piedfort Sovereigns released.
Only 2017, 2018 and 2019 saw these; and now 2022.

The yield on 10 year Treasury bonds has long been accepted as the primary augur/ indicator as regards the direction of financial markets.   Current 10Y yields have been on the rise for over three years and are currently at a 15 year high of 4.8%.   China and most of the rest of the (non-US) world are selling T-bonds like there is there is no tomorrow. The only buyer of note is the Fed itself.   Expect another raft of US bank failures in the none too distant future as their own holdings of "safe" Treasuries bites them in the αrse one final and fatal time. That's without mentioning the unspoken derivatives black-hole. . The only way I perceive anything but an imminent day of reckoning for the stock market is in the form of delay ahead of the Presidential "elections".  Whether the Fed steps in with huge (freshly printed) "money" to stick a finger in the dyke and temporarily stave off the forthcoming cataclysm is open to debate.   Either way, the deluge is on its way and I for one would not touch Treasuries with a barge pole. Experience dictates that the sell-off will, initially, be across the board from equities to gold (panic and "margin-covering") and other commodities. Gold will drop but once it starts to bounce many will be left clutching at thin air.   I believe US Treasuries are on a par with Izal. But that will not stop the world falling out of their αrse.

    Wow, fantastic pictures!!!
I think the somewhat divisive  'one leg' 2018 is a bold design personally, and one of the bravest of the 'classic' format (such as that 2014) before the redesign (lovely coins but not in the same league for me).
I also believe the 2018 is a 'first' for two reasons (always happy to be corrected!). Firstly that the design of the Kook crosses the border. Secondly that one privy issue at least completely removes a KEY aspect of the design (the moon). From memory I think it was the year of the dog privy (?).  I am not sure as my coins have been in storage for years, but whatever it is it's notable imho

The 2018 Sapphire Coronation (Marsh and others - I assume they use those figures - say 323, which is a very definite number, I'd love to know where that figure comes from @GoldDiggerDave!) was a strange case. It 'sold out' fairly quickly at the Mint, but not by the crazy standards we've seen since 2019. It wasn't that hard to get them from certain dealers that are not so commonly mentioned on here. The problem was the caps, all came off in transit, in some cases causing damage. Because there was no problem getting replacements from the aforementioned sources I returned a handful before I got ones I was 100% happy with, but in hindsight I was being super picky because of the capsule problem, and wish I'd kept one or two more, as I now believe this one is a 'name your price' coin (or soon will be, within reason of course - personally I'm holding long-term).
No idea what happened to all the returns, or why the stated mintage is so low. Maybe the company I dealt with sold them at discount to their employees (they were pretty clueless) and the actual mintage is higher than Marsh thinks (?).
