And continuing my efforts toward a Queen Elizabeth II post Decimalisation run of Crowns/£5’s, some of the more difficult and low mintage issues, all bought from an Italian eBay seller- less than 48 hour delivery from Genoa!  I particularly like the Portraits of Britain set and the Victoria Memorial/ Buckingham Palace is extremely nice.

In that case, I'm going to put some Krugerrands in a zero-seller-fee auction, at £1 million each. Can't think why I haven't done that before, I could have saved over 50 years of hard work!

2014 6-Coin Silver Proof Britannia Set   Further to a French polishing commission, I have just been given this very generous gift as a "thank you bonus".    The desirable 2014 Britannia 6-coin set was limited to a mintage of merely 1735, this set being number 685 and in all-round superb condition.  

Had a result today with the silver maples from an antique dealer at £20 each and the Queen Victoria silver medal from my local bullion dealer was a decent price as well.

A bit of joy back from NGC~ after multiple attempts at selecting and sending in raw coins, finally an MS70 QB gold 1/4 Horse of Hanover.  This one completes my set of all ten original QB bullion quarters in MS70. And a 69 as a worthy runner up! 

I agree partially to what you are saying. I am also a collector but i like to grade my coins and to get a pf70 where possible. As you all know how bad the quality is lately with Royal Mint coins, buying more than one increases my chances to get the top pop grade i am after. I will then sell the remaining coins i have at whatever grade they acquire. If some coin is really bad, i will return back to the mint.
Making a little profit on the extras is not bad thing. if that makes me a flipper then everyone is a flipper (they just sell after years instead of minutes). I have bought 10-20 year old coins for 5-20 times their release price... The bad thing is if someone is buying many coins with the sole purpose to sell for profit and does not care at all about collecting.
 

After 3 hours of sleep the post guy woke me up at 8 in the morning. I thought it was Henry himself, hammering my ordered coins direct on my door. So i was smiling instead of killing this guy. But it wasn't Henry, but Jody Clark's QEII 2 OZ Una and the Lion by the Commonwealth Mint. Really good job by him, wasn't expecting that i like it that much.

Maybe someone should ask the RM for their views on the current situation ? 
From a business point of view i am sure that they are very pleased that most of thier coins sell out in a matter of minutes but do they have any interest in who actually buys them whether it be collectors or flippers ? 
As someone said earlier in the thread the RM are not daft and from my personal experience they do try to look after the collectors the best they can under the circumstances.
From a customer experience perspective trying to buy an item only to find that you are nearly always number 2000 in the queue is certainly not appealing and therefore not good for the business but i am not sure what the best solution would be for this ? 
Personally i don't do queues nor do i pay more than the RM issue price for newly released coins, however i would never critisise someone else who is happy to pay over the odds for a new release, a coin is worth what an individual is prepared to pay for it !
