Two interesting pick ups. Full Shield Sydney 1878 and half shield 1874 die no.1. 

Received a nice bullion 1887 sov $3 over spot.

Reasonably rare 1916 London mint in MS64
Nice 1842 shield in MS61 🙂

Adding to my 1887 collection. I like this year because it was Sherlock Holmes' first year.     
My first ever full sovereign, though I had a 1/2 graded MS 61.     
I think the Crown is MS 61. I had a Crown MS 63 that was similar wear. I'll regrade that.       
The Penny might be AU-55 or maybe MS 61 on a good day. The sail boat has nice detail. Not bad for a raw penny.

Picked this up from the folks at Auction World Japan.  A well-graded RD example of a fairly recent (well, if 100+ yrs old is recent) issue.  I didn't have this year so a nice addition to the Farthing collection at a great price even with the BP and shipping from Japan.  I'd rather not have the smudge to the left of the king's nose but it's not a scratch so I can live with it until a better example comes up for sale/auction.
