So this is one side of the 87 without capsule which looked the worst on the photos. As u can see slight mark on left. I did not try and rub it off if it is something on the coin

Pretty sure it’s just the capsules. When I got them I couldn’t see anything on the coins when I checked. I store them without boxes so did expect the capsules to get rub marks and fluffed up a bit. Can carefully unscrew and take more photos if needed -

The Sovereign bug is biting and I have a couple of very nice 1/10th Brits for ideally a trade for 1 full sov. 1987 & 2003 both boxed and coa. Will post some photos if there is some interest. Got the horse privy but only because I didn’t have the date of the coin. The 2017 also has the fork privy. the black thing is this, a 1797 cartwheel penny.
