I've been wanting the 2017 for a while because of the new design.  Luckily I never did buy it and the limited 30th Anniversary Privy was recently released so it made much more sense to get this one instead for the extra few £.  Decided to buy from RMB as it was only £4 more expensive than elsewhere and for that extra I would get a capsule and be entered into the prize draw.  Unlike the Queen's Beasts, the capsule is not the screw type and is just a push fit with a little moon cutout for opening.
Shipped yesterday with a scheduled delivery for Tuesday due to the Bank Holiday.  Delivered today, a Saturday by DHL.
The field design is much better than the dimply effect of the previous couple years.

Not British....but still a nice gold sovereign!

Got a 50 peso from Hatton Garden Metals. A bit dingy on the rim. Pleased to see it was not a 1947 restrike.
 

Finally got the Griffin to go with my lion. Looks good with the 2oz silver ones.

1/4 QB Griffin arrived to join his brother lion.

1oz QB Dragon from Bairds.  Originally wanted to buy from RMB but since spot is up I decided to go with a cheaper dealer.  Chose Bairds because they seal into tamper evident holder and I assume part of the reason they do this to keep coin minty fresh.  I'm sure someone here had a sealed coin with an issue and they replaced it without hassle.
Cracked it open to put in a capsule.  Comparison with the 1/4.  Scales are much easier to see with the bigger size.

Final delivery of the day from DHL.
Been wanting to pick up the 1oz Griffin for a couple of weeks.  Was going to pickup from Chards but that didn't happen.  Was going to buy from Bairds but then RMB had a sale.  Worked out a little cheaper than from Bairds and with a screw capsule as well.  Rehoused in a ringed cap to go in the coin box with the others.

Today I bought a couple of sovereigns from HGM [emoji1]

Thanks to @HelpingHands for this little nugget. A common year but in lovely condition and at a nice price.
