Not the greatest photo of part of my silver stack however I was keen to show off my newly acquired Britannia bars - all 13 of them. I am gradually transitioning to British coins and bars which started last month. I have strict self imposed rules on just purchasing 10oz Brit bars and whole tubes of Brits. If you see me in the trade section purchasing anything outside of these paramiters then please inform a moderator immediately  
Having said all that I am particularly keen on my kilo Monkey king coin. @BackyardBullion did a great video on this coin which I stumbled across the other day. 

i have heard members ask - if the price of silver goes up to £50 /oz, no-one will buy it - well how did it get to £50 /oz if people didn't buy it?
Bitcoin was a few cents in 2009 - the price of BTC has gone up a few 1000% and people keep buying.
My parents' first house was £1100 - people keep buying houses after they have gone up a few 1000%.
Gold was £325/ oz in the summer of 2007 - it is over £1400 now. 
i see spot silver is £12.74 and silver coins are changing hands for more than 50% more than that.
i'll worry about people not buying silver at £28 when it happens - i don't think it will be worrying when it does.

Because they are pretty much the cheapest silver available from a reputable dealer (or anybody else for that matter) at this present point in time.
Why worry about "before lockdown"? We are talking price and availability now. I understand what you are saying though, it's a psychological thing. Even if somebody offered me a sovereign at spot today, I couldn't bring myself to buy it and would rather somebody else had it. Why? Because a few years back I was buying sovereigns sub-£200 and I can't mentally overcome them being £340-350 now. They are a good price, no doubt, but I have a mental block.
Anything around the £16-17/oz right now is a steal at current prices. 
Not sure why I don't have the same mental block with silver. i have a screenshot on my phone of a monster box of maples when I was planning to buy a monster box. £5765 delivered for 500oz. That's £11.53 an ounce at my door.
