I personally wouldn't bother stacking copper because it would take up a huge amount of storage space. Copper is not a precious metal either. The price of copper is currently $0.24 per ounce, compared with silver at $24 per ounce, that's a hundred time cheaper than silver. As copper is an industrial metal, the instrinic value is based on supply and demand ie. whatever people are willing to pay for it in a time of need.

It could just be a poorly taken photo with reflections that makes it looks as though the silver bar (on the right) is peeling. Edit: the seller is open to offers. Why not buy them, get them tested and then let us know like last time ! 😉😁

I didn't even noticed that the price had drop so much. But then again, I'm not interested in the metal. It took years to convince myself to buy an ounce of platinum but only when it fell below USD850 / oz. For Palladium costing the same as gold, no thanks. I'll stick with gold. 🤗

The USD being accepted globally does not imply that it is a store of value, especially when it is worth only 2% from a hundred plus years ago. No fiat currencies in my book are a store of value.
