Thank you all for your welcomes! I've enjoyed browsing the forum and learning more over the past week. I've already bought a coin and saved a load of money than had I bought from a dealer so I'm very glad to have found the forum! By far one of the most welcoming forums I've been on.

Hi Everyone,
I am new to TSF but not new to precious metals. I stack mainly bullion sovereigns and half sovereigns - predominantly good quality bullion coins. I'm also interested in collecting coins of lower mintage years, date runs, ones in nice condition etc. if prices are fair.
I started my precious metal journey in the early2000s... I bought mostly silver back then and at that time, somehow picked up a full sovereign for just over £100... how times have certainly changed! I'm now in my early-mid 30s, and how I wish I'd stacked more back then... hindsight, as they say.
My stacking and collecting resumed in 2021. I'm doing a date run of the 1/10 Gold Britannia's, from 2021 - the point the security features were introduced. As mentioned earlier though, sovereigns and half sovereigns are my main interest. 
I have a philosophy of only purchasing what I can afford, with the aim of at least one sovereign / a half or two per month.
I own a Sigma Pro Mini, with calibrated wands, for verifying anything I purchase, and to also prove authenticity of anything I come to sell. I've sold items previously via eBay, but I'll settle in here for a while before I consider selling anything on the Forum.
I've come to join TSF after hearing great things about the community, and also the security offered. Indeed, @BackyardBullion has been an influence on me joining too, from his Youtube topics. He seems a genuine and down to earth chap. I've also heard great things about his intermediary service, but don't know much about it. I'm guessing I can find out more on the Forum.
My main reasons for joining are: to see what the forum is all about and learn to navigate it (I've never joined a forum before!); and hopefully purchase some nice bullion sovereigns / half sovereigns from members. Further ahead in the future, I may consider selling here too - I think I need to become a Premium member for the best security and smoothness in selling. 
I'm very much looking forward to joining the community, learning about TSF, and hopefully acquiring some nice sovereigns from members in time.
If anyone is happy and able to steer me to any guidance about purchasing from members on TSF as a new member, or offer any advice or guidance, I will be very appreciative. Tips about using / navigating the Forum will be welcome too!
