Well peeps spotted this wee Melbourne Lady on eBay late on Thursday what do you know BYB has diversified so with 4 seconds to go I caught myself a precious bit of Victorian history.

Pms are INSURANCE. Most of us don't sit there looking at our insurance policies and saying "what a stunning buy I made" until after the fact. It is ALL about staying in the game. Silver is something to be accumulated and stockpiled for times of trouble. But the trick is that you have to buy it during normal times when it is undervalued. You can't wait for the crisis. Most people won't stay the course. They'll buy a few batches and then get fed up waiting for the moonshot. Physical sales are at multi-year lows which tell you everything you need to know about those who haven't managed to stay the course.. most buyers have washed out and fallen away. They haven't managed to stay in the game. Silver hasn't done what they were hoping for it to do in the timeframe that they were expecting. If you go into this with a definite end-game in mind then you will certainly become discouraged and disinterested when that end-game doesn't play out. You will fall by the wayside and you will no longer still be in the game.

How about a random joke I was drinking in this bar when this high mileage woman came up to me I noticed she had a tattoo with 15/5/87 on her arm, she said to me 'I see you are admiring my tattoo, its the birthday of my 4th kid' , oh I said I thought it was your use by date.

My Route 66 shield arrived today and will probably go to eBay as there's a slight mark on one of the faces, just by the right hand number six. I was excited about getting this shield as I want to complete the series eventually but I seem to keep getting coins from this seller with slight imperfections. Must be all the mints in the World with this problem. I'll knock them on the head now and look elsewhere.

I don't think anyone in this thread has denied the Holocaust. Any suffering and death of any people in any number is unacceptable and shameful. The only thing that was pointed out is that the events in Germany from 1933-1945 are clearly a taboo and treated differently than similar events in history and that the official account might be skewed, something an open and unbiased discussion might be able to resolve. We clearly have been trained to cry out holocaust denier, antisemite, Nazi apologetic even if no qualifying statement of that kind has been made (and you can add to your own defence "yet"). Your intentions are noble but no one has or will make such a statement, neither in public nor in private. Because all people are asking here for is a less biased and emotionally charged and prejudiced view. I really wonder when and how this programming has been taking place in Britain? I also start to wonder about the intentions of the threat operator @SamGibsonBJJ, who has thrown this at the forum without a single further comment...

Howdy, I have just had to leave the peaceful confines of home and venture into the real world As with everything in life, there is no shortage of things to pee you off in a very short space of time I find out last night, it is a very good neighbor of mine has his birthday today, so nip in the car and shoot to my little local Asda. x5 bottles of different craft ciders and a card - job done, what could possibly go wrong ? I go inside, there are now x8 of those self-serve checkouts, I loathe and just one manned counter in front of the cigs. So I go to the only staff nearest to these machines, and ask "Can I pay for these please" "You have to use the checkouts", I reply "I am at the checkout now, could you please do it" NOPE - muggins here has got to. So, not only am I putting coin in Asda pocket I now having to undertake unpaid work for the privilege. Well, stuff that, that is Asda on the blacklist to avoid now. Well, I'm now back home decided to pen them an email of complaint to get my cash I'm due (see below) I will let you know how I get on and see if I get my wages for today ! Please feel free to copy and use it yourself if it works "Hi Asda Just to make you aware of the minimum wage at work, sadly as you may like to have in an ideal world "I do not work for nothing" I was told today by a surly member of your staff I HAVE to now scan my own shopping, I have to undertake unpaid work. I refer you to "The Modern Day Slavery Act 2015" http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2015/30/contents/enacted namely "Slavery, servitude and forced or labour (1)A person commits an offence if— (a)the person holds another person in slavery or servitude and the circumstances are such that the person knows or ought to know that the other person is held in slavery or servitude, or (b)the person requires another person to perform forced or compulsory labour and the circumstances are such that the person knows or ought to know that the other person is being required to perform forced or compulsory labour. (2)In subsection (1) the references to holding a person in slavery or servitude or requiring a person to perform forced or compulsory labour are to be construed in accordance with Article 4 of the Human Rights Convention. (3)In determining whether a person is being held in slavery or servitude or required to perform forced or compulsory labour, regard may be had to all the circumstances. (4)For example, regard may be had— (a)to any of the person’s personal circumstances (such as the person being a child, the person’s family relationships, and any mental or physical illness) which may make the person more vulnerable than other persons; (b)to any work or services provided by the person, including work or services provided in circumstances which constitute exploitation within section 3(3) to (6). (5)The consent of a person (whether an adult or a child) to any of the acts alleged to constitute holding the person in slavery or servitude, or requiring the person to perform forced or compulsory labour, does not preclude a determination that the person is being held in slavery or servitude, or required to perform forced or compulsory labour." So, It took me a total of 4 minutes to scan my few items, ironically it would have been sooner had the errors the machine made, a staff member still had to put right! So although I will take a wage cut in this instance, ( as I can see Asda dont like paying top dollar! ) to show fairness I am due to be compensated 4/60th of £7.83 for my forced labour today in your store, additionally, I would seek another 6/60th of £7.83 for the 6 minutes it has taken to find my sources and pen this complaint. So 10/60th of an hour in total worked or 1/6th of an hour worked 1/6 of £7.83 = £1.305 £1.30 will be totally fine I will forgo the .005p I am still due as I can see times are hard at WalMart HQ with your CEO C. Douglas McMillon only taking a salary of only $22,179,961 last year, those 0.005p sure do add up Please send payment to the address above, for my work today, please send payment only as a cheque, not as Asda gift card/voucher as this the last time I will be using your store again. Paul PS thanks also for rubbing our noses in it some more, on your receipt " Save Money, Live Better " lol I can you are very right !

End game / why stack / why collect

Hello all So i have been browsing the forum for a few hours now. Trying to get as much info in to my scull as possible in that given time. I see allot of silver here silver there, do you have, look what i have, my stack and other requests and topics like this. But what i cant seem to find is the. Why do people stack. how does this play out when you want to sell. who do you sell to. ( if you answer with "when there are sellers there are buyers", you do not understand my question) Its claimed that you secure your purchasing power. How so? If silver wont increase in value then your premiums will leave everyone at a loos or break even. There is not allot of indicators pointing to a soon to be financial crisis where fiat drops to 0. No signs of stocks crashing. Silver does not seem to be a secondary income where your investment makes you more money. Right now bullion is a dorment investment with no option to sell with a gain. I am very new to the silver world and have bought a few things here and there, but the more i looked in to it i find my self struggeling to see when and where the win of silver is. I like silver and i will keep buying silver but i will not be using the money i first intended unless i find a reason to. And i need the brilliant minds of the community here to brainstorm with me. I do not hope that i come off as being offensive in this post, my mind is just riddled with questions that i am looking for answers for. I hope we can have a constructive debate where all oppinions can flow freely. Kind Regards SilverFlame

My reason is very simple. I'm a waster lol. I've spent all my money on nothing including a lot gambling. I haven't gambled in 2 month and have bought precious metal instead. Short term I think I've done quite well apart from a couple of over priced common sovs at the start. For example two 10oz bars I've picked up, I've turned down £40 and £45 profit on each. I've also picked up a 10g gold bar from this forum for below spot if you shop about and spend some research time (ask my missus about this lol) investment increase, in my opinion can be very good

    Today I Received.....

A few pickups from the last few weeks. Starting with a nice piece of old Swiss gold together with a modern shiny Swan. The 10 francs Vreneli is not one you see so much of, compared to the 20 francs. Then some auction pickups. Nice haul of bullion Libertads in a mixed lot: happy to find some of the old and lowest mintages (1999 was second lowest year @95,000) and cool to see the transition from 1999 to 2000 in the Mexican coat of arms. In the same lot were a dozen Kookaburras - all in perfect shape. Most interesting was this 2008 in its original card. That happens to be my favorite Kook design ! A really characterful 8 reales from 1763 (with a chopmark in the globe), love these historical pieces. May not grade it though because NGC will probably find something to downgrade: these coins had a colorful life so i dont really care what the grade could be?. Was after a different year (1860s) - as i already have one, but picked up another 1870 Australian sovereign (this one probably better than my earlier one). Finally - at a price less than the going rate for the single proof, a 1989 double sov proof. Did not realize how low (2,000) the mintage was - so hopefully these will go up over time. This one is definitely headed to Numistacker for NGC??

These SOTD sovereigns are specialist and do not appeal to everyone. I am ok if i am wrong about this one but i sense: 1. A growing world market for Sovereigns. 2. That the mintage of this is low enough to make it a sought after specialist coin. I am also conscious that: 1. Almost all modern mint issues apart from the 2017 proof and bu sovereigns are losers I took the decision to buy 2 on my RM account interest free and one using 150 of free cash from Quidco to help subsidise it. Thats my rationale and it may be that these will appear on the secondary market at £300 i dont know. If I saw them at £300 in 2 years I would buy more I think as they might be the lowest mintage modern strike on the day sovereign that is unique. Many of the earlier SOTD were same as the regular sovereign and not gradeable unless mint sealed. This one follows from the plain edge in that it is unique. Billion does not have the privy mark. Proof mintage 10,500 coins 2018 Bullion Coin - Mintage - tons and tons 2018 Sapphire Coronation - mintage 650 units or about 5% of the proof mintage
