  2. Might not be bargains. Silver has been way higher than this before. It was over $40 per Oz in 2011. People are cautious for good reason. I'm still buying .
  3. A double strike would be seen across the full coin, all of the details would be repeated. Because it's occurred across several characters having the same offset I would think it's a die fault, probably some type of hub doubling. There's not much info on die production for Sovereigns of this period so there's a bit of speculation involved based on more modern coin production. https://www.error-ref.com/doubled-dies/ Obverse and reverse dies wear at different rates and the obverse dies weren't numbered. It's possible that other 1872 die 90 reverse coins will have been produced with different obverse dies.
  4. The last bar has gone missing 😞 I am on a mission to find it for @cjbcomm
  5. I had been in the lookout for this for some time. Y2K privy. Need to replace capsule.
  6. Thats a shocker. I sent mine back a few weeks ago, it didn't have any milk spots, but it hardly had any frosting either!!! Still waiting for my replacement. If wasn't an absolute belter of a coin I would just have asked for a refund. Hope we get decent replacements...
  7. Used to, before he became.. Well... Less alive
  8. On a serious note, @sellerstacker might have some available Strapped objects
  9. Your grandad displays his silver in cabinets?
  10. I'm good. I'll go raid my grandads display cabinet 👍

  12. New price is £785 including £12.95 RMSD ( you singlehandedly put the price up )
  13. 100%. Ingots and nice little collections can be bought for a bargain price too.
  14. Yep same here. I bought from Bairdmint after doing a lot of research and seeing they were the cheapest in the UK. Spot has went up about £6 since then. Made me feel like an idiot when I came on TSF and could buy the same coins at the same price when spot was higher. Like 10 days ago I picked up 20 of the 2022 QEIIs for £22/oz, which was under spot by the time they arrived 🤷‍♂️ and cheaper than I bought them for on 10th March 2023 when spot was £16.75 😢
  15. Anyone selling a kilo bar at a reasonable price (98% spot) @James32?
  16. That's a huge premium on those Britannias tbh. The coloured versions of the 1oz american eagle are usually much cheaper on ebay and I seem to remember seeing a couple on here last year for basically the same price as bullion. I did think of buying one for the novelty value a while ago.
  17. It's a good way to get exposure to the physical silver market. It's called scrap but often you find gorgeous pieces 😊
  18. I wonder who brought the scrap they must of been experienced to buy it up.🤔

    Colourised coins.

Yeah that seller has a few. Add them to watched and you will receive an offer / discount. It’s not my account 😂 honest. Buy them all and it means I don’t have to contemplate them 😂 I have bought from them before with no issues.
  20. In my case yes, I'm quite sure most of the sellers don't place any orders right now but I'm willing to take the risk.
  21. Very true. Many if us started off unaware of TSF and bought from retailers at first (including myself 😳). I'll be in profit in 2076.
  22. Is that what the going rate will be? Makes sense to me as I've always seen a £4 over spot average on generic silver
