  2. I have a few of these in my collection. They have a top-quality finish, and the pictures don't do it justice. I think LEV has stopped minting them now. I remember when they came out with the 1kg in 2014, and with a new concept of ultra violet light, it a great bar for somebody's stack. If I did not have one, I would buy this one, it looks great no tarnish nothing perfect. A real gem for those who know 😉
  3. 😮🤔but he recovered from that…..🤔

    Bump
  5. You raided the house 3 doors down from me.
  6. I say cleaned. hairlines, uneven colour. There's a green spot on the shield also, which might be the remnents of pvc that's been cleaned off. - just my take on the pics
  7. Going to be a lot of ounce gold on the sales pages on the run up to Christmas this year.🤓
  8. There's stacking and then there's solid silver Lego bricks!
  9. If this is meant to be in the for sale section, then yes please.
  10. Yeah, I'd stop looking tbh. I nicked it with the barbecue out the back and a very nice leather jump suit.
  11. With a great name like 'God's Money' maybe you will appreciate this: Luke 15:8-10 NKJV The Parable of the Lost Coin 8 “Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbours together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ 10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
  12. I'm going to stick my neck out here and say that although the silver and bronze predecimal coins pictured above form a fascinating collection, I don't think they amount to a lot of value above scrap silver. But that's not really the point, it's a journey through time and just think of all the people who will have used those coins to buy various things over the decades and centuries. Definitely post up what dates you have on the pennies and other bronze. But use those two websites that I linked to earlier, that will give you an idea if you have anything significant. Your toned 1887 silver coins in the cased set are very nice though and perhaps worth between £200 and £300 between them 🙂
