  1. Past hour
  2. Yes. Unfortunately just one 57 but I’ll update a pic of the rest as I put them in my off site storage. From memory there was a 58, 62, 63, 64, 65 and two 68’s amongst other years. I left the 66’s as they seemed to have the highest mintage. I also got a couple of 74’s and he gave me a special reverse 2005 as part of the deal 👍. So they weren’t all Gillicks.
  3. Some perfect Maklouf's dropped off today. Can't beat these 1980's QEII portrait's.
  4. Come on follow the TSF motto, get selling it now! 😁
  5. Yes exactly. He’s done work for other Mints, but the 1823 year date is the mystery. (I asked him. 😅)
  6. I said it before and say it again, ''as prices rise, the proof is the one to buy as the premium greatly narrow ''. Today got a proof 2012 for less than £800.
  7. Ditto to this. More of a reshuffle but still buying 👍🏼
  8. What's interesting is the collection is a bit haphazard for someone who collected over the years. Is this the whole collection? Have you searched your grandfathers house throughly? Many people ( on here ) have plenty of hiding places for rare coins.
  9. Wow! I do like design. As dramatic as Wyon’s medallic version perhaps? Jody Clark does do commissions for other ‘Mints’/ Marketing companies, but why 1823 which was Pistrucci’s 1st G&D period with sword in hand. It’s a mystery!
  10. I was buying at peak, I buy whenever I have the money and something I want comes up for sale and nuts to the spot price
  11. I think the peak will never come until man wipes itself out
  12. No one was buying at the peak, everyone was waiting for the price stabilise.
  13. Today
  14. Be careful.... You can end up very rich taking profits 'too early' £1861
  15. It’s breaking my heart / bank I should have sold at the peak 😂
  16. Fantastic! They look great. I'm still learning what's what. Looked up the Barmaid's Ruin. Very interesting!
  17. Jody Clark shared this in a post: I can’t find any 1823 coin with this design; but it looks like it’s being reissued for 2xxx, so maybe 2024 or 2025? What could it be?
  18. Isn't the time limit for keeping records six years?
