  2. Bump - 99.7% of spot delivered @ £880
  3. Final push on the 1/4 oz --> now at £445 so thats 0.85% over spot delivered.
  4. I've seen YouTube sponsors of the "Dirtyman Safe" and the concept is excellent, but it's getting too well known to the point that burglars will know to scan your garden with a metal detector at night while you're asleep. It's also way overpriced.
  5. AHH he had kilo bars, epic 🔥🔥
  6. I agree with the bank trust - government could seize it. The safety deposit company I use for gold is an independent UK company (established in 112 years ago) who've never had an "incident" so I feel really confident with them. I also now insure the deposit box contents (it's surprisingly cheap - perhaps because it's so secure?) For silver storage, I'm very fortunate. A person I trust with my life gives me access to a safe (only myself and my partner can access it with our fingerprints or a code - that we've set - so only we know it and one other trusted individual). It's one of those safes that even a giant plough couldn't move. I use about 0.0001% of the space, but he doesn't need and can't get rid of it, so I'm making the most of it and take him for lunch every now and again as a thank you!
  7. That sounds like a good idea until you come home and your partner says they’ve done a clear out of the old ‘cr*p’ in the shed on bin day. 😆
  8. The medal as intended was supposed to be 130mm in diameter. Now what might be truly novel is if the Royal Mint were to stick to the weights (2oz, 5oz, etc.) but half the thickness and increase the diameters. The G&D’s matte finish was an easy one to do, to make the coin interesting, and market it as a ‘first’ in the Great Engravers series. But I doubt the RM would dare to be as innovative as reducing thickness and increasing diameters (though I’d love if they proved me wrong).
  9. 😮🐶one very spoilt dog😮🐶🐶

    Silver Bars?

100 oz bars are quite big - i had a few until they were lost in a tragic boating accident. They are kind of doorstop size below that nah, personally i don't see kilos as big and certainly not too big.
