The introduction of this law will unfortunately change the pricing structures for many European dealers who offer card payments.

Hopefully this won't make any difference for those who pay via Banks transfer.

Well if they up the prices to cover the loss of the surcharge it will affect everyone. They probably will to some extent as there is extra costs involved which they won't want to swallow.

I would think we will see an overall base price rise of around 1 to 1.5%, discounts may be offered for bank transfer. The surcharge costs are more than we can absorb in many cases, certainly for larger transactions.

Its a hidden inflation
