Rhodium more expensive then platinum

Recommended Posts

Rhodium is that another one of those crypto currencies or something? :P

Palladium is also not far behind platinum now. When you look at the auto industry it doesn't make sense (70% of demand), unless you take into account that credit in that industry is the only thing driving it and has been for years - in other words, the entire model is unsustainable, especially now that rates are rising. Another government scrappage scheme might put off the inevitable a bit longer perhaps, a bit like help to buy in the housing market has, but I doubt it will work for long when the rates start rising.

Since 2014, the proportion of car sales sold on finance has increased by 54% and now 9 out of every 10 cars are bought on finance

Today Interest rates in the UK are 0.25% - in the US they are 1% - I will let you work out what happens next. ;)

What was Janet Yellen saying the other day?

There there is this;

The supply of the unfinished metal is relatively stable, suggesting pure manipulation. Like Arshi said this has happened before. Both Rhodium and Palladium may go much higher, but who knows if the same trick can be played twice? Some immense gains last time around, but you would need something paper to have taken advantage realistically.
