French Coinage Guide

Hiya All!

As I continue to grow my library of coin reference/guide books, I'd really like to pick up one for French coins.  Is there one out there that's the definitive "go to" source (in English)?  I've seen the Krause Publications' "Standard Catalog of World Coins" but my assumption would be given the scope of the book, the best it could do is skim over each nation's coinage.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks for your help.

Thanks so much @SilverTanner!  Just ordered the latest Krause for 1801-1900.  Looked at the Monnaies Francaises but as I don't Parlez-vous, I thought it best to stick with Krause.  Otherwise, it'd be, "Look at the pretty pictures!"  Thanks so much for the assist.

It is not a novel. The little text there is you easily could translate and write in the book or stick a note on the pages. In coin books many words comes over and over again.
