10oz silver coins

Hello people 

Just thought I would ask how you feel about 10oz silver coins.

Im starting to fall in love with how these look and considering investing in a few. 

I will of course  be collecting all the Queens beast ones but it's got me looking at others too.

I especially like this 2017 Maple leaf

Be prepared for all Canadian and U.K. Coins to milk.    Cracking size and they look great in hand but be ready for them to be only worth bullion when it comes time to sell

Perth ones are nice. I pick up the odd koala and kook occasionally and obviously the lunars are worthwhile.

I agree they will probably only be worth bullion, I have some 10oz lunars for that very reason - for me they are more impressive than common 1oz bullion coins but a very similar premium, and can often be found lower!

It should also be less hassle to sell one coin than have to sell 10 individually.

I'm not to worried about spotting to be honest I just think it's a nicer way to obtain 10oz of silver than 10oz bars.

To me these are a much smarter buy than a 10oz bar, you get the margin scheme VAT reduction and the possibility of someone needing it to complete their collection for a little added premium.   I usually go for the Perth stuff but I did get that 10 oz multi maple myself.

Well I just had to pick one up so I ordered this morning.

This could be a new thing for me as I'm sure their much nicer to hold and glance at than a 10oz bar.

Welcome to the Forum Charles.  I noticed you've posted on several threads that you're looking for "fake" Silver bars.  Just replying to be sure you're asking where you can buy counterfeit Silver?  If that is the case, would you mind sharing why?  We've got a lot of smart cookies here and we enjoy helping one another but fakes and counterfeits we try to avoid like the plague!   Look forward to hearing from you.

To the original question - I have stuck to buying the 10oz Perth Kookaburras, as the designs are great and the chance of spotting is very low. However - I don't expect them to have anything over bullion value.  Must say I don't have a problem with 10oz bars either though - especially Asahi or Scottsdale Reserve ?

Cool I will most likely pick some other 10oz coins up too.

I have loads of bars mainly Metalors so these make a nice change.

i bought my first 10oz coin.   The QB Lion.  i LOVE it.  feels like a weapon in my hand! 

not sure if i will continue the QB's due to the RM's inability to make milk free silver.

i think i WILL be sticking to 10oz Coins going forward, as they are hefty and FUN!
