2017 30 Year Anniversary Gold 1oz Brittania

I would say no based on seemingly no one collecting gold bullion Britannia's to date.

I was thinking the same thing initially. But surely if i am in the market to buy a few 1oz coins in the UK, these currently are the best coins to buy for potential future collections?

I don't think it will gain any value because of the design

If I was going to buy around 1 oz  of  modern bullion gold I think id prefer 4 2017 sovereigns with the shield mint mark, they're much more likely to go for a little premium in future than the Britannia

I don't have either gold coin yet....but either a 1 ounce QB Lion or the 2017 anniversary Britannia would be a great addition to any collection! Do agree with @Kman though that from a pure appreciation angle 4x2017 anniversary sovereigns probably an even smarter bet...

Well I actually quite like the background on these new brits, and I'm a sucker for a privy. Didn't buy the silver ones or this gold one for profit on bullion prices just wanted them
