Gold sovereigns 2000 2007

Morning @Madstacks just a general question on the two gold sovereign, how different the quality between the 2000/2007 which one is the best coin in your opinion, I'm for one unsure I would like them both, wonder what would happen if you get them graded? I'm just learning really. But thank you very much for your photos. Very interesting.

Hi Gary, I'm not sure if this was meant to be a personal message or on the forums? does not matter though, the coins in question were proof coins and I have not compared the standard versions - but in proof format to me the difference is night and day, the detail on the 2000 proof sovereign is just far superior and if i was to buy one at similar prices I would go for the 2000 proof every time:) as for grading the detail would not come into the grade received as that is how the coin was meant to be struck, but for how they compare in looks then in this case older is deffo better,
