Usually colourised coins do not do well. This does not apply to every colourised coin. I bought a set of Lunar II dragons from a forum member and they are very nice but i see this as an exception.

i see this coin is selling at goldsilver.be for 40,25 €. That's about 2.4x spot. If you really like it then go for it but it is not a coin on my list.

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.

It is a nice looking coin if you are into coloured coins & the odd coloured coin can be good investment, eg the recent feeding frenzy on the coloured peter rabbit 50p coin, the Tuvalu red back  spider is another example. But on the whole very few coloured coins are a good financial investment.

If you like it & are a collector buy it, don't be put off by what other people like, view it as a tiny piece of art that cost relatively little & enjoy.

If you are looking to flip it don't bother.

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

Thank you for your comments! I'm afraid that i took off on the wrong foot then. I thought from the beginning that these 'exclusive' coloured coins were a better investment then the normal silver coins. I have to be honest, i also think they have something special in them, but yes the price is ofcourse everytime more then 2 tot 3x over spot. Still on auction platforms they can do pretty good (for as far as i've seen). Anyway, i think i will have to change my strategy then! :)
