New from New York

I am new to the site. Originally from upstate NY now living in South Korea.
Been coin collecting since I was a kid.  Started stacking silver and gold last year.  I'm stacking mostly silver this year as the silver:gold ratio is around 75:1 at the moment.  

What do people think about buying Alaskan gold flakes/nuggets when it is at or below spot?  I am thinking about adding gold if I see a good deal on raw gold.
I know it's not 24k so it is better to buy bullion or does it depend on the quality of the flakes/nuggets???
