Plated fakes is just the beginning. Today there was a discussion on the Silver Shield forum about fakes in the system. Chris Duane was involved in the discussion. They were naming names (ebay sellers, mints and others), pointing out medallions which were creations of fakers producing mules which never existed before. So cocky they were threatening legal action against Silver Shield Group. Some of the older proof micro mintage product can get quite pricey so it attracts the usual types.

Sixgun, I like the designs for sure.  I picked up a "freedom girl/in death and debt they trust" double obverse proof on ebay recently, a uk seller who didn't even say it was a proof in the listing.  I think these are quite rare as I can't find a lot of info about them.
